The Bolide Technology Group SD Card Self Recording Picture Frame Hidden Spy Camera is a covert video surveillance unit that comes with a Sony CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) image sensor and offers high-quality images with D1 resolution, and records video in 720 x 480 / 320 x 240 pixels. Looking exactly like a wall-mount picture frame, the camera is ideal for places where discrete video monitoring is required.

The scheduled/manual recording mode enables you to start recording at a selected time, while the motion activation/detection feature ensures that the camera begins video recording only when motion is detected in the field of view. In other words, no more wastage of time in fast forwarding through hours of footage looking for the event. The footage can be stored in a removable SD card, and an RCA cable allows you to connect the camera to a TV or a compatible monitor for viewing the footage.

Covert Video Surveillance
Resembling a regular picture frame, the spy camera is suitable for discrete surveillance.

Comments about Bolide Technology Group SD Card Self Recording Picture Frame Hidden Spy Camera:

Read below before you purchase.I highly recommend reading all of the Cons listed below before you blow [$].Cons1.)This camera is not meant to be hung on the wall but to just sit on a desk.2.)The only reliable power source is wired which detracts from its covert nature.3.)You need to first plug into a TV in order to configure it.4.)It comes with no instructions to do so. (default password 0000)5.)It records in a propriety format which requires you have to use there software. 6.)It is a non returnable item, so B&H photo will just giggle when you ask.Bottom line:I called Bolide before the purchase and was told that it could be used in the manner I wanted. Given the lack of support from B&H photo, I have called Bolide again since the purchase and have been given conflicting stories about the product depending on who I speak with. I have completely lost any respect I had for this company and will not purchase any further products. Their service is not only unacceptable but unforgivable in my opinion.

        Works well (once figured out)

Comments about Bolide Technology Group SD Card Self Recording Picture Frame Hidden Spy Camera:

Picture quality excellent, and works well, although has no instructions with it, and it's not obvious how to work it. Here's the secret: It must be started by first setting it up using an RCA connection to a television. Use the remote control's "menu" mode; then it will be obvious how to setup and program this device using the television. Once ready, disconnect the TV and you can start recording by pressing the "record" button. I wish it had included this info on a 3x5 card; if it had, 5 stars.
