The Image S4i in-ear headset from Klipsch provides terrific audio quality in a compact design ideal for mobile use. The high-performance dynamic microspeakers provide a full frequency response with rich bass and clear treble, bringing out all the detail in your music.
An inline mic and remote module provide terrific compatibility with the iPhone, iPod touch, and other smart music phones. The mic has a 360° pickup pattern to capture your voice clearly; ideal for phone calls, voice notes, or voice commands. The remote control has volume up/down buttons, as well as a main button that can answer and end phone calls and control music playback. The headset can also be used with a computer for VoIP applications such as Skype.
To add to your enjoyment, the in-ear fit creates a seal in the ear that blocks out ambient noise, allowing you to focus on your music. The washable silicone eartips are provided in 4 different sizes, allowing you to find the best fit for comfort and noise isolation. The 3.5mm mini plug lets you connect to MP3 players, CD players, and more. A cleaning tool, clothing clip, and carrying pouch are included.

I have long been a BIG fn of Klipsch speakers for my home stereo, in the day, my Mac recording and my Home Theater system. When I bought my iPod Toucjh it came with the standard Apple earbuds. Too bad Apple doesn't just lower the price [$] bucks and let us buy our own.Buy my own I did. I bought the Apple in-ear buds with microphone. That was a [$] dollar mistake. Too much money for an OK sound.Then one day I got an email from Klipsch announcing the S4i. I was extatic to see them include a microphone (as I need this for Skype and chat). I was also intrigued by the oval earpiece... it makes perfect sense. So I bought a set while shopping at B&H.These babies are comfortable. The oval earpiece is ingenious. Why hasn't anyone figured that out before? The controls and microphone module are located in the center of the yoke making it very easy to find. No more fumbling up around my ear looking to change volume or skip tracks- nope it's right there in the middle, easily found and operated from left or right.The sound is incredibly accurate. Right up to Klipsch standards for reproduction. Therein lies the loss of one star. They are too good! They reproduce the MP3 compresion artifacts too well. I found them to show the weakness of MP3. Don't get me wrong, I should mention I've never been a fan of lossy, hollow MP3 formats. I may make it sound worse than it really is but as I mentioned at the start I've been a g=fan of Klipsch standards for sound reproduction and they do that extremely well.I highly recommend these In-Ear Home Theater Speakers to anyone wishing to hear the music. Any Klipsch fan will know what I mean when I say no "BS" here!

I was excited to start using these earphones. After reading so many review here as well as other sites, I thought this was the right choice....wrong.
I had these plugged into my iPhone4. The sound is VERY bright as these really boost the highs of the music. The bass seemed a bit elevated too but there was nothing in between. No mid's. The volume level was good.
I didn't like the thickness (or lack there of) the cord. It felt very thin and fragile. I can see how these would get tangled very quickly and easily.
The main reason I purchased these was to listen to music and answer the phone without having to unplug the earphones. Well after the first phone call, I knew these were headed back to the store. The person on the other end had a hard time hearing me as there was too much background noise coming through on the mic. I ended up unplugging them (defeating the purpose) to finish my call.
Controls worked flawlessly with iPhone.
I switched to Denon AH-C560r instead. So far a better balance of sound. Call clarity is TBD. Full review coming soon.

I reviewed many headsets before choosing these. And I feel I made the right choice. The sound is very clear and full and you can hear all the details in the music. The headset comes with several sets of ear tips and you should try them all to find the best fit for you. I was amazed how different the headset sounded with the different ear tips. The sound is very full; plenty of bass but good mid-range and highs as well. I bought these to0 you with an iPod and and iPhone and I am very p[leased. The inline mic and controls allow volume control, skip-back and skip forward controls. And you can answer the phone with just the press of a button. I have no trouble understanding who I am talking to and no one has expressed any trouble understnading me.

the sound in these in ear headset is amazing, the bass, the highs, the middle. i feel cheated when i am listening to the same songs using apple standard headphones, it's just not fair to me or the music. S4i makes it perfect, they fit well, isolate any external noise, focus the sound so it delivers at it's best.
the only problem i have with these are the Tips, once you loose them, there are a few others in the box that might work for you, but for me I found only one size works best and it's hard to buy them separately from the headphones anywhere. standard ones just do not fit. i think you can order them from the manufactures website though, but it's a hassle to be honest, so stack up before you loose.

I had another klipsch ear phone that i bought 2 years ago and it's still working but I gave it to a friend and so I decided to buy this one. I thought it has a great stereo sound. It stays in your ear unlike the iphone version. Great for commuting.
Just don't use to for outdoor jogging or walking. The noise cancellation is excellent and you could be hit by a car if you're not alert outdoors :o)

I have had two sets of these which lasted about a month before the buttons stopped working and a short in the wire caused the volume to change randomly. After the first pair failed I wrote Klipsch and they were great about sending a replacement set out. But now the new set is not working. The Apple headphones that come with an iPhone have lasted well over a year with similar use and are still working. These sound much better than the stock headset (which is how they get two stars) but are too fragile for me to recommend them.

Only professionally trained ears may hear a difference in headphones costing hundreds more. For the price, these are suberb. Sound is excellent and the buds are comfortable while providing total blocking of surrounding sounds. The wire at the connector has been redesigned and reinforced from an earlier model eliminating the only negative for this product.

This is an awsome headset. Nothing flashy very discret but Maxi-Bass and incredible clarity. The design might look out of style but the result is so impressive. Great for Classical or Hip Hop. Excelent for a great work put on the treadmil. Resist well to constant jumping. Not the best of the best or the most expensive but clearly in the same league. If it is affordable or on top of your price segment, you will be very happy.

Great earphones for my iPhone 3GS and the Mic is welcome. I cannot yet judge sound quality when on a call as I do not use that often, but the audio quality while playing music is amazing. Way better than the standard Apple earphones.
Only nuisance I noiced is not being able to start playing music when the iPhone is locked. Not sure if this is a compatibility issue, but I used to be able to do so with the apple earphones. No issues though afterwards pausing/skipping/playing, etc.
The chord seems a bit thin and not sure how durable it will be. I use this in the Gym, so it gets some "workout". We'll see if it lasts longer than the Apple ones that did not impress me at all with their durability. Also they do not stay secure in my ears while running (I have to keep adjusting them), but no issue with other less active workout.
Overall, for the sale price they were at, I am satisfied with this purchase.

Amazing well-balanced sound. Bass is amazing without being too empowering. Crisp and clear treble and amazing mid-tones. These are without a doubt, a high quality product. They give amazing audio without being too crazy with the bass. You can listen too all kinds of music genre with these. The Beats Tour is only great for Rap and Techno and the design is too flashy for my taste. The S4i's design is not the most amazing but acceptable. Overall amazing product. I bought 3 of these and my friends were amazed with the quality. It is a worthy little brother to my Bose QC15.

The neg. I think it´s better to have one shorter cable to the left earplug and a longer to the right ear so you can have the right cable around the back of your neck. It´s just a small preference of mine. =)

I bought these earphones after reading many positive reviews about the sound quality and comfort. So far, I've been very pleased. The sound is rich and "warm", with plenty of bass. They are also very comfortable and offer good sound isolation. I also appreciate having the in-line mic and iPhone controls. The cord is quite thin, so the long-term durability is a concern, but I hope they'll last at least a couple of years.

To be honest I had a tough time getting the fit right and that's critical to great performance. I read a blog which offered several suggestions which worked for me. Insert the buds 180 degrees from normal and simultaneously pull up on your ear, it worked like a charm. They're comfortable and sound great.

I tried to use it with different Brand cellphones, it's not working properly because stupid thing have revers polarity on the plug.And let me tell you about quality: it Suc.sO yeah sound is great but could be better for the price. But cable is to thin, Klipsch logo was erased in the first month of use. Also cable puled out of jacket on 3.5mm plug so wires are exposed, and on other side similar problem. Cord jacket near headphones and female jack are easily torn and that happened in first 2 months of use. Trust me when I say I did not abuse them at all, I was really careful because they are pricey.I am completely disappointed because I paid [$] for this headset and they come from Klipsch company that is spouse to be one among the best for this kind of stuff."What good is it a sports car with best performance if your wheel falls of do to a bad manufacture quality"I am pis.ed and I feel robed for my money.P.S.
