The Olympus MF-2 Micro Four Thirds to OM Lens Adapter allows the use of legacy Olympus OM lenses on any Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera body. Compact in size and light in weight, the MF-2 is easy to carry and highly useful. From the brilliant 8mm f/2.8 fisheye to the tack-sharp 200mm f/4 telephoto, all of your legendary OM lenses are given new life with the MF-2 adapter and the Micro Four Thirds System.
Note! Due to the design of OM optics, autofocus and auto exposure are not available with the MF-2. Manual or aperture priority exposure is required for photo applications. Focusing using the camera LCD or viewfinder is recommended as the distance scales of OM lenses may not be accurate when used with non-OM cameras.

The Olympus MF-2 OM is a little no non-sense adapter that allows you to use the legacy Olympus OM lenses on a Panasonic or Olympus micro four thirds cameras.
There are great and cheap legacy OM lenses around, so if you are on a budget and do not mind manually setting the aperture and using your camera in manual focus mode, you will expand the number of available lenses available.
In my case my brother gave me 3 lenses, a 50 mm f1.8, a 100mm and a 2x teleconverter. Thanks to this adapter I have a great lens for low light portraits (the 50mm) and a telephoto that works as 100mm and 200mm. For now I just need to find a good OM macro and I'm be OK for a while.
This adapter is made to last, has a substantial feel and just works. There are cheaper options on the web and because of the price they may be worth to try, but probably will not be a match the quality to the MF-2.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
I bought this item from B&H to use Olympus Four Thirds Lenses on my Panasonic Ag-Af 100 camcorder which has MFT mount. I used the Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-54mm F2.8-3.5 with that adapter. The adapter worked as described by the instructions encluded in package. If you need it, I think it is worth the price.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
I still have all my OM gear from the 1970s (and still shoot with it on occasion), now some great OM lenses have found a new life on my OM-D M5. The build quality of the MF-2 is excellent, however it's a bit pricey.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
My OM lenses work well with this adaptor. 200mm f 4 and 300 mm f 4.5 are particularly well-suited to this adaptor. Macro 80 and 135 mm lenses work well on the auto-tube or bellows with this adaptor. Effective doubling of the focal length with minimal loss of quality is a plus for these lenses. Most of my other OM lenses are less convenient/effective than my native M 4/3 lenses.
I am pleased that this well-made adaptor has given my lenses a new lease on life.
I have rarely been happy with generic adapters so I just went with the olympus one

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
The MF-2 OM adapter is typical of the high quality construction I have come to expect from Olympus. Smooth tight fitting lens and body mounts, well baffled inside against stray light. Should have included a front and rear cap to protect the adapter in the camera bag.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
Got this to use my OM lenses with an OM-D. It is beautifully made, and the fit on both ends is exactly right, so I don't really have a complaint, but I guess I don't understand why it is so expensive. I use other generic adapters for 4/3 to m4/3 and they also appear well made and fit, but they are about a fifth the price. If I had the feeling olympus was using the difference to do R & D on the system, hurrah! but I suspect it is being used to cover investment losses.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
This adapter does exactly what I need it to do--it allows me to use my legacy Zuiko lenses with my new digital Olympus OM-D. I've tried it with a 28mm f2.8, 55mm f1.2, and my new favorite, the 135mm f3.5. With the OM-D's micro four-thirds sensor, this lens takes superb telephoto shots, perfect for nature photography.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
OM lenses feel secure on my new E-P3 and they are fantastic. I'm new to the camera so manual focus was tricky at first but I'm getting better quickly. Using a tripod is a great help as focus adjustment is pretty critical on 50mm and above.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
I have had a camera bag full of lenses I used with my OM-2's until my Poke boat rolled & I drown the cameras. It is amaging how the use of the adapter gives me whole new views without the added expense of new lenses. It lets me use the good glass I acquired over the years.
Of course I have to go back being a photograper - shutter speed & F-stops because Auto goes away, but with the "Erase" feature working, it doesn't matter. Best thing is that I'm going to be able to use my bellows for some really close up work too.

Comments about Olympus MF-2 OM Lens Adapter:
Works perfectly to allow me to mount my old Olympus OM lenses on my new Panasonic AF100 camcorder. Nice solid metal construction, and mates smoothly with both lens mounts. The full original range of iris and focus on each lens is maintained.
