It's a rear lens cap - simple as that. But it's well made for a plastic piece, reasonably priced, and it does the job well. I keep a few extra in my bag since I tend to lose them from time to time. It do like the fact that they are very small, compared to DSLR lens caps.

I ordered this as I had lost one of the lens caps from my Panasonic Micro Four-thirds camera and couldn't find a replacement. So I ordered this as Olympus uses the same lens mount on their cameras. Fits perfectly.
