The FLEX-D-D11 Flex 11 TelePrompter from Prompter People is a complete teleprompting package designed to work with smaller mini DV and HD cameras and most tripods. It requires no tools to set up or break down, facilitating its use and management. It is constructed of custom, aluminum extrusions and an ultra-light LCD to offer a lightweight design that improves panning & tilting performance and does not require a heavy tripod.
This unit's beamsplitter uses UltraClear HD glass with low, iron content to help eliminate the color shifts and light loss commonly experienced in many beamsplitters. Furthermore, the glass features an anti-reflection coating on its back side to eliminate reflections that can bounce back into the lens.
This solution includes a licensed copy of Flip-Q Lite, a monochromatic, teleprompting-display, software package that is compatible with both PC and Mac platforms. The LCD panel in this package features both VGA and composite video inputs, as well as built-in speakers. It can be powered with 100 to 240VAC or 12VDC input, making the solution equally well suited for field or studio use.

The teleprompter is very easy to use, and quick to assemble. The quality is excellent. [...]. Hard and soft cases are available, but expensive in comparison to the cost of the teleprompter. [...] Works fine, and only costed $25 *The included plate didn't fit any of our heads, but our plates attached easily. *The FlipQ software isn't included in the box, and we couldn't find any information on where to download it. We contacted Prompter People through their website and they were very quick in responding. They gave us a link and log in to download the software. The software works great, I don't see a reason to purchase the upgraded version.Overall, great product - no complaints.

Comments about Prompter People FLEX-D-D11 Flex 11 TelePrompter:
This is a great prompter for pro-sumer studio operations. It fits well with our Sony EX3 and is a snap to set up and break down. It seems like this would be ideal for many different sized camera because of the adjustable platforms for both the camera and the monitor. May be a little bulky for field production.
