Product Highlights
  • Includes 3-Way Head - Supports 7.7 lbs (3.5kg)

The Cullmann Nanomax 260 Tripod is a medium-sized tripod for any point and shoot camera and most consumer-oriented SLR systems.  An attached pan/tilt head with a single knob for horizontal images controls all camera movements.

The Nanomax 260's maximum height of 5'4" will be sufficient for most users to have their camera at eye level, and when collapsed it is <20".  Being only 2.86 pounds to carry, the Nanomax 260 hits the 'sweet spot' for many users because it provides relatively solid support without being so large and unwieldy that you would leave it at home or in the hotel room.

Anti-rotation tubing along each leg segment to ease deployment/collapsing
Foam-padded upper leg segments aid cold weather handling and soften carrying upon shoulders
Simple open/closed position legs
Rubber padded feet
Basic pan/tilt head with quick release plate
Maximum upper leg diameter of 23mm
Includes fitted case with shoulder strap

I wanted a nice light tripod I can carry around with me and this one definitely fit the bill. It's built nice. Panning is smooth. Tilt is a little rough but nothing too bad. I love the ability to get the legs spread out more for lower/macro shots and the removable center column. The bag that came with it is an extra bonus! Great tripod to throw on your back and take with.

User friendly with lots of features. It does not have bubble balance so you may want to purchase one that fits on the hot shoe of your SLR/DSLR camera. A great product which should cost at least twice it's price. Highly recommended

Perfect for travel people. Rigid & good quality.
Suggestion: I use allen key to loosen the screws on the head just a bit to make the head movement on pan and till action more freely. (5 minutes work and this is only for personal reference). Love it!

[...]Great tripod [...].Using it to attach D40x/D7000, 18-200, and SB600 flash. The pan can jerk a bit to get it going then it's smooth once you get it going. It's fairly lightweight, though not a featherweight (~2.8lbs).

Don't rely on Cullmann Germany when it's made in China!
I just received this thing and it's worth me packing it back up and paying to 3 day it back to B&H.
The head is too tight to be easily used without frustration!

I bought this one for my Dad for Xmas. I wasn't sure which one to get, so I did a little research. I was looking for something that was light, but with good stability. There were a lot of good reviews on a similar model, but I opted for this one bacause the others were too short. As is turns out...he loved it! Only time will tellt the rest of the story.

This tripod is light and very small when folded, so it's easy to carry everywhere.

Little bigger and heavier than expected and described. Quality looks good and the legs really collapse down. Looking forward to using it with my EOS7D and big lenses. Got it because of the weight ratings.
