Comments about Creative Light 100825 Speed Ring for Norman/Hasselblad-40/Quantum/Sunpack:
I got this speedring thinking is would be great to be able to put various size softboxes on my Quantum T2. But much to my disappointment the fit of the speedring is so tight that you really have to apply a lot of controlled pressure to slide this over the flash tube of the Quantum without cracking the tube. I did get it on but was too worried about the weight of the softbox putting stress on the tube and breaking it, so it's sitting in my cupboard.Maybe it works brilliantly with one of the newer Quantum heads but as the T2 is my only Quantum flash head, this is all I can base my review on. If someone has had success on a newer light that would be great to know.

No more useless umbrellas that turn my light stands into a sail boat on location shoots! The windiest city in the USA is Dallas. Period.

Works great, only product available for my quantum, ok price. Could be a bit lighter but that might increase the cost.
