Creative Light 41" White Umbrella

B&H # CRU41W Mfr # 100866
No Longer Available

Probably the most basic light modifier in the photography world--the umbrella. Light reflecting off the umbrella's interior spreads out to cover a wide area. Umbrellas are easy to use, easy to store and easy to transport, and provide you with almost unlimited lighting possibilities. The Creative Light  41" White Umbrella's white interior gives you a very soft, diffuse light.

Approved for use with continuous hot lights up to 500 watts

Comments about Creative Light 41" White Umbrella:

Quick and easy set up is the name of the game these days. Perfect size and quality constructed. I use my 2 umbrellas on location for the most part. They are paired with Manfrotto light stands and umbrella adapters with hotshoe connectors for my Pocket Wizards.
They aren't the best out there, but they fit my needs. Pleasing light and adequately disperses light the way I desire.
      Would buy again!

Comments about Creative Light 41" White Umbrella:

I use these white umbrellas for portraits (indoors and outdoors) and for other indoor/interior photoshoots. The color is a clean "white" but doesn't seem to fade or diminish vibrance. For interior photography I like the bounced spread of light that I get, yet I can control that spread effectively for portraits.

Comments about Creative Light 41" White Umbrella:

This umbrella disperses light with a well diffused throw distance (but I guess that depends on the strobe used -- used with Alien Bee 800).

It is like a sail in the mildest of breezes and will sheer its stem when falling over while attached to a c-stand.

No broncolour umbrella. Not that it can be expected. Decent strength though - better than the 'impact' ones.

Comments about Creative Light 41" White Umbrella:

I use this umbrella on location for fashion and portraiture. I bought this brand to replace some other umbrellas that had just not held up to the demands of travel.
First, these umbrellas come with a very heavy gauge nylon cover that does a great job of protecting the umbrellas in transit. Plus they slide in and out of my carrying bag easily.
Second, The materials are first rate. The fabric is heavy weight nylon and the frame is strong and well made. Really much better than others I have used at about the same price point.
I have often taken the position that umbrellas are consumable items that just will have to be replaced regularly. These umbrellas give me the confidence that they will last.
The only slight downside for me is that there is not enough of a size difference between their 41" and 33" umbrellas. I would have liked maybe a 50" instead but in practical terms it doesn't make that much difference.
