I lost the silicon tips that came with my ear buds. I couldn't find replacements quickly, so I decided to try the foam tips. Like all foam, they are a bit awkward to squeeze in at first. But once they are in, they eliminate outside noise and the sound is good.

First used these tips when they came with some Westone earphones and for me there is no substitute. Now, every earphone i have has to have comply tips on them.
They block out more sound, which means i don't need to turn the volume up as much and they also thicken the bass.
I'm given only four stars because the platinum tips look kinda funky after wearing them for awhile.
