The Sony ICF-C318 AM/FM Clock Radio (Black) is a budget-friendly way to wake up on time each and every day. This compact clock radio features an analog AM/FM tuner, dual alarms, built-in calendar, and battery backup. Extendable snooze, automatic time set, and automatic daylight savings time functions all add to the value.

- The ICF-C318 doubles as a calendar - view the date and year on the clock radio
- Battery Back-Up
- In the case of a power interruption, the built-in lithium battery maintains the correct time so when the power returns you don't have to re-set the clock
- Automatic Time Set (ATS)
- The radio is preset at the factory to the correct EST (Eastern Standard Time). All you need to do is plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary
- Extendable Snooze
- Choose your own snooze time. Each press of the snooze button adds an additional 10 minutes to your total snooze time for up to a full hour of uninterrupted sleep
- Automatic Daylight Savings Time
- The clock automatically changes the time during Daylight Savings Time in the spring and fall of each year. There's no need to adjust the clock thanks to the built-in calendar which recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper adjustments

Needed a replacement for an ancient Radio Shack dual alarm. This unit is much smaller, has great reception and is easy to use. I like the separate settings and the choice of radio or buzzer alarms. The large 10 min snooze button is very convenient. On/off is concave/convex but you have to feel around for them in the dark. Don't understand any of the negative comments I have read. I am pretty picky and this unit definitely does the job!

I did not have to keep changing the setting for my shift work. I also like the idea of waking up to either a radio or buzzer. I don't like the tuning dials (too sensitive). I was also disappointed about the "tinny" sound...I've had other Sony radios that sounded much better. For my purpose, it was adequate and the price was reasonable.

I have to be to work early on Fridays, so the dual alarm is helpful. Unlike the multi alarm on my cell phone, I'll have to remember to turn off alarm "A" (Monday-Thursday) and turn on alarm "B" (Friday)
