This is the main morning clock radio and alarm. It has a smaller footprint than some of the others I looked at. I like the sound options for falling asleep if you don't want to plug in the iPod. Nice that the little tray hides away when not using the iPod. Nice big visible numbers for viewing without contacts. Best price I could find was right here. [...]A little effort to set up. Definitely should review the manual first to access all features.Love the product.

Comments about Sony ICF-CL75iP Multi-Function Clock Radio for iPod:

Being a Sony fan for many years, I expected this product to be a bit better. The slide out dock for my iPhone is very flimsy and moves every time you try to connect the iPhone. I expected it to pull images and video from my iPhone, but you have to connect a USB drive or flash card to get the items onto the product. That is so backwards. Otherwise it seems to work well. I just haven't had the time to load up a USB drive with images to really try it out. The iHome I had prior sounded MUCH better, but the clock stopped working. You can't win...most products made today are inferior to products of years ago.

Comments about Sony ICF-CL75iP Multi-Function Clock Radio for iPod:

*User-friendly: every function is well explained directly in the device. No need to read the instruction manual too much. I was able to record the happy birthday song as my girlfriend's alarm and set the background image ten minutes after opening.
        *Nice looking
*Good sound (for a clock radio)
*Serves as a picture frame with internal memory
*Don't know whether defects appear after a while, I only got it 2 weeks ago.
*I found nothing comparable on the market.

        Three and a half Stars
        Great Things:
*I love the inputs for Memory Card / USB jump drive.
*I love the slide show capability.
*Volume control and dimmer on top.
*Auxilliary input for mp3 or ipod.
        *Good quality sound.

        No so great things:
*Needs shuffle function for music and slide show.
*Needs a menu choice to set default background picture, slide show and music from internal or external memory. I do not like having to reset these every time I turn it on.
This is not a cheap clock radio. It needs the functionality and features of a Quality Sony product. I would gladly have paid $5 or $10 more for more features.

I was trying to find an alarm clock that could set MP3 files as alarm sound, but with no success.
Found this one, and now don't use it just as a MP3 alarm clock, but also as a photo frame and video player. Very good.

Comments about Sony ICF-CL75iP Multi-Function Clock Radio for iPod:

I read a bunch of terrible reviews and also several happy reviews for this product, and thought: user error? How can one person find it unbearably buggy and another perfectly fine?

I would like to confirm that this is indeed a terrible and buggy piece of excrement that will charm you with its excellent screen and sound quality and then destroy your will to live with a 'thousand cuts' approach to user interface.

Quite literally the most frustrating product I've ever purchased.

Do NOT buy this unless it's for your enemy.

I Love this clock, it is a must have item and would make a fantastic Christmas gift. I purchased this after my atomic clock was dropped and flew into 5000 pieces. (Glad it did now) The people at Sony have out done themselves again. It's more than just a clock, it's a photo album, alarm clock, radio, ipod, music player and a digital photo frame. I have had the clock for a month now and still enjoy it immensely and would gladly buy another one! PS, it looks a lot nicer setting on my table than in the photos!

Very sleek! (narrow flat design with nice screen display). Most multifunctional alarm clock I've ever seen. Combines an electronic picture frame with an alarm clock, and it looks amazing.

Can wake up and fall asleep to saved mp3's, pre-installed relaxing sounds, AM/FM radio (with MANY presets), or iPod (with a charging dock that slides out). Plays video too. I love the dual alarms with each having it's own 'rocker' on the side. An amazing overall design.
