        Good sound, weirdly "loud" wires

        By Listener at work

        from Boston, MA

        Verified Buyer

Comments about Grado iGi In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

The sound is great-- much deeper and richer than what came w/ my iphone. One weird thing is that you can hear when you hit the wire really loudly-- sort of hard to explain. If you stick your finger in your ear and flick it you can sort of hear/feel it; that's what happens when you're listening to something and your wires are moving around. I like them enough to continue using them but probably not the best ear buds out there.

Comments about Grado iGi In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

Sounds good but not great like other Grados! Made in China, which was disappointing. Kinda big for buds. I'd recommend them to friends but there are other buds worth having a look at before you buy. really comes down to do they sound good? -iGi's do. 2. Are they comfy? -You have to try before you buy3. Can you afford `em? -Price is competitive with other Chinese-made better buds.

Comments about Grado iGi In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

I have long been skeptical of in-ear headphone, finding that the fit it inconsistent, uncomfortable, etc. Having long owned and loved Grado over-the-ear headphones for my home stereo, I thought I'd give these a try because I've wandering in the jungle of unsatisfying competitive products for years. THESE ARE GREAT. Love the fit, love the sound, and I'm hearing my music on my ipod better than ever. I would buy these again without hesitation. I've worked out with them as well, and they stay in my ear.

Comments about Grado iGi In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

background sounds is open and the vocal voice is warm. The base is solid but not overpower. The earphone isolates ambient sounds very well. It is a great product for such a small in-ear phone. The only drawback is that the earphone does not come with a carry case. The company shall provide a carry case to protect the earphone. [...]

Worth the price. Excellent sound. Optional inserts to fit any ear, its all here. I have no idea how many cheap ear phone sets I have purchased for my iPod...these will be with me a LONG time.
