The Op/Tech USA Dual Harness (X-Long) (Black) is designed to comfortably and securely carry 2 cameras or binoculars for quick and easy access. It can also hold a lens pouch or other type of pouch instead of either the camera or binoculars. The U-shaped neoprene neck pad evenly distributes the weight of the gear while absorbing the shock of any movements. There is an adjustable back section to fit the harness comfortably. The removable sternum strap controls the width of the harness. It evenly balances the gear at the sides to eliminate interference between the two cameras.
The Dual Harness is easy to attach and fully adjustable with Op/Tech system connectors. One connector on each side stays firmly in place while the second one quickly glides along the strap to bring the camera to the proper shooting position. The interchangeable design enables converting from a dual to a single sling system or to quickly move a camera to another strap altogether. It keeps the camera stabilized and secured while viewing and grasping and it maintains the camera in the upright position, no stress is put on the camera, lens or shoe-mount flash units. The tripod mount is available to use for brackets and other adapters.

I do a lot of shoots where I will have a short and long lens. Some portrait, some sports so I was interested in getting a dual harness that would give me the flexibility to configure each camera differently. I looked at the "Trekking Twin Safari Strap" and "Black Rapid RS DR-1 Double Strap" but settled on the Op Tech based on accessories and posts on the other products. I checked out their website and was please with all of the accessories available. One camera I sometimes have a flash with an external battery pack so I want to connect from the top left & top right of the camera with the typical straps. The other camera I carry a larger lens 70-200 IS USM L 2.8 where I use a Black Rapid FastenR2 to screw in the bottom of the lens. I did buy a high quality carabiner to then attached to the Black Rapid FasternR2. I felt that I wanted something that would support the camera from detaching at all costs. That camera hangs upside down. This works great for me as when I want to change whether kneeling or standing both cameras are at my finger tips. If you shoot weddings, sports, this is a must as it allows you to take advantage of utilizing 2 cameras.

Having chronic back issues, I thought this harness would be the answer to carrying my DSLR with a heavy 150-500 telephoto lens. The harness doesn't seem to have enough support to keep it from sliding up, and still puts a lot of stress on the neck and back. Under arm straps are uncomfortable, and if you aren't using all of the connector straps, they are in the way.

I should've bought this a long time ago! It sure works well and releives the stress on my neck from the standard camera strap I was using with my 100-400 taking wildlife pics. Also gives me additional use of my 2nd camera with normal lens so now I don't miss interesting landscapes.

One of the best things for photography I have ever bought! I carry 2 canon 7D's with 70-200 lens & and 400 lens and it works great! Some has said its too long, but I am only 5'10 and I made straps to their shortest length it its fine. Carried for miles & Hrs with no problems, Camera slides easily when needed and just works Great! No sense in spending the big bucks, try this, you'll like it!

I carry a Canon 7D with a 70-200 2.8 on one side and a Canon 5D Mark II with a wide zoom on the other side. I can switch cameras in seconds. I love not having to worry about the straps getting tangled around my neck or falling off my shoulder. It is great to carry the weight on my shoulders and not my neck. I'm 6'2" and had to shorten the straps to their shortest position but it works great. I have been using the OpTech straps for years and love them. I can switch to this harness when I need two cameras and switch back when I don't.

I got one of these for myself and really liked it. However, it was too small for my husband so got him the X-Long one and it worked great. We use same camera bodies so are able leave straps on them and use interchangeable with our harnesses.

The Op/Tech is a great camera harness. Physically small for storage but securely holds my SLR with a 400 mm lens with little movement. Easy to get into the harness, adjust, and operate the camera. An X-large is almost to large for a 6" 1"" male.

I use the harness to carry my D80 and D90 with two different lens when I do weddings. I am ready for what ever I need when I am shooting. This would be great for anyone with two cameras.

Product was easy to don and adjust. Equipment was easily attached and adjusted. I like the fact that the camera strap lugs are used versus a single attachment to the tripod/monopad mount.

I use the straps to carry two large Canon DSLRs with zoom lens and flash. No more neck or back aches and cameras falling off the shoulder when using individual straps. I also got two straps with the 3/8 connectors for easy use when I only need to carry one camera.

Comments about OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (X-Long):
When photographing sports it is almost necessary to have two cameras so that you can capture action as it happens no matter the focal length. This strap has been a back and neck saver from the very beginning and best of as it is made in the United States.
I love the detachable clips that are on this harness allowing me to change the camera bodies that are attached while still keeping everything secure. The neck is so padded that I hardly notice the weight on my shoulders compared with the standard canon straps that I have continued using for the last 6+ year.
Getting used to not having my straps slip off and not having the weight on my neck has been the hardest thing about this setup but given the ease of use and comfort it is a purchase that I would definitely make again without 2nd thought.
NOTE: Concerning sizing I am 6'2" tall and have found this particular setup a bit to long for me, I have made correct adjustments but the normal size may be best unless you are 6'3" or taller.
Additionally you may want the following for times that you aren't going to be carrying 2 cameras, also a great strap.

Comments about OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (X-Long):
This easily holds 2 cameras, even with good sized lenses! I have a bushhawk that holds a sigma 150-500mm lens on this system with no problems. Shoulder straps are comfortable enough with zero "digging in". X-long means tall long torso people or big bulky coats, but can be adjusted easily for "regular" sized people. Simple, cheap and it works.

I use the harness for carrying my two DSLR's during wedding shoots. I gives me easy & ready access to both of my cameras right when I need them. I have been doing wedding photography for 3yrs now and this is one of the best purchases I have made. If you shoot with two cameras this is a must have! If I could change one thing I would probably like to have the straps connect to the bottom off my cameras having them hang upside down rather than on the neck-strap locations. I use an external flash that gets in the way because it is sticking up. Other than that, great product!!!

I use this harness when shooting auto races. I carry two cameras and can do so without fear of having one slip from my shoulder. The are held securly and can quickly accessed to shoot with. It takes the strain off your neck. Much more comfortable rig to use on a long days shoot. I ordered the long one because I am 6'4" but think the standard would have been a better fit. Very pleased with the price and product.

I'm into both photography & bird watching so I'm always carrying a camera & binoculars which can make for a very sore neck at the end of the day. This strap pretty much makes it effortless though. Only suggestion I might make is to add a way to carry something attached to the sternum strap. That way I could carry 2 cameras & my binoculars.

Carrying a Canon 40D with a 100-400mm lens (approx 4 lbs) and image stabilized binoculars on the other side. Really saves the neck and back while hiking for extended periods yet both pieces of equipment are extremely handy. Easy to attach and unattach to super classic strap with connectors.

I am a big guy 6'6" and 300lbs and this fits perfectly with room to spare. It is also adjustable for people with a smaller frame size.
I use this along with the Optech Reporter Strap and that allows me to carry up to 4 SLR bodies very comfortably.
Also works well solo and keeps the cameras out of the way.
I shoot a lot of concerts where you only get to shoot the first 3 songs from the pit so this allows me to swap out various cameras for a different lens in a hurry
