The Op/Tech USA Dual Harness (Regular) (Black) is designed to comfortably and securely carry 2 cameras or binoculars for quick and easy access. It can also hold a lens pouch or other type of pouch instead of either the camera or binoculars. The U-shaped neoprene neck pad evenly distributes the weight of the gear while absorbing the shock of any movements. There is an adjustable back section to fit the harness comfortably. The removable sternum strap controls the width of the harness. It evenly balances the gear at the sides to eliminate interference between the two cameras.
The Dual Harness is easy to attach and fully adjustable with Op/Tech system connectors. One connector on each side stays firmly in place while the second one quickly glides along the strap to bring the camera to the proper shooting position. The interchangeable design enables converting from a dual to a single sling system or to quickly move a camera to another strap altogether. It keeps the camera stabilized and secured while viewing and grasping and it maintains the camera in the upright position, no stress is put on the camera, lens or shoe-mount flash units. The tripod mount is available to use for brackets and other adapters.

Carrying two cameras can be a difficult task.
Op/Tech's Dual Harness solves this issue in a effective manner without breaking the bank.
I'm no stranger to Op/Tech products. I use their neoprene camera straps and when I need a dual camera solution, I purchased their Reporter Dual camera strap. It works, but when you are carrying two pro sized cameras with battery grips, one with a 70-200mm and the other wide angle, switching from camera to camera took a little finesse, and at some point, the straps would get tangled. ...not to mention all that weight on your neck. Op/Tech's neoprene support system worked well at distributing the weight, but it was still on your neck. So, I needed to find another solution.
Their are some newcomers on the market with some pretty fancy designs and the price tags to go with it. So, when I found Op/Tech had a solution, I went for it.
Pros:
Comfortable. The weight is on the shoulders, not the neck.
Cameras on your hip. Straps long enough to allow camera to be pulled up to your face without issue.
Modular strap connectors. Easily go from the dual harness to a single Op/Tech neoprene strap in seconds.
Cons or Caveats:
Shoulder padding material is different from Op/Tech's neoprene straps. A little denser, does seem a little bit cheaper in quality. Op/Tech logo stamped into material, not the traditional white silkscreen. Cost savings?
When the cameras are at your hips, they have a tendency to swing. In tight situations, cameras can bang against desks, other people, especially little kids' heads. :) Maybe some type of retaining system (velcro) to attach to hip/belt.
With all things considered, I love the product and recommend it to anyone who needs carry two cameras.

To connect the camera to the harness you have to remove the orignial camera strap. Then attach two short male connectors which snap into the harness straps. This would all be fine if OP/TECH would offer an accessory regular strap. If the camera is not attached to the harness, you have no strap, just the two short male connectors hanging there. I have expensive equipment. I almost always have the strap around my neck. I purchased this harness to use while photographing in Grand Teton and Yellowstone. I did not use it at all because I was so uncomfortable handling my cameras without proper straps. Example: To mount a camera on a tripod, you must disconnect from the harness. In an area that is crowded where someone could bump the tripod, sending it and the camera down a deep canyon...I always put the strap around my neck, even when the camera is on a tripod. I would gladly purchase two attaching regular straps for this system; otherwise, it's going to stay in the bag at home. It's not worth the time and effort to switch out the regular straps with the connector straps.

Comments about OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (Regular):
Researching in an effort to find a comfortable strap or harness that could support my Canon DSL camera with battery pack and lens, I came across the Dual Harness by OP/TECH USA. I compared it to others in the same category by other brands, read the reviews, and truly do not regret choosing it. The price is perfect for someone like me who is not a pro, but an enthusiast who loves to be out in nature taking photos. I usually come back home with pain on my shoulders and neck especially when I attach the lens 100-400 to my camera. I am so glad I purchased this item because the vest balances the weight of my camera well, sitting perfect over my shoulder and back. It is very light which is great because it adds no weight to my equipment. It holds my equipment well and safe due to very good construction. The strap in the front keeps it snug to my chest without the sense of tightness or choking. The cameras do hang safe and free on the adjustable long straps in a way that it is easy to grab and take a shot without having to disconnect or connect them to the harness. Yet, if you need to disconnect the camera, it is easy with just a snap. One can carry two cameras or a camera and binoculars, or even just one camera. When it comes to the review that mentioned the cameras swinging, I do not understand where the reviewer is coming from because if you care for your equipment you will not just swing it loose! Of course if you want a steady carrier, there are bags and vests for that. I do not think that is the purpose of this product - It is more like a harness/strap as it states, with great support.
I was concerned when I ordered it since I am a woman only 5"4" in height and did read by a reviewer that it was too large, but I took the risk and ordered the smaller size of the two available which is Size Regular. I do not understand that review now with the product in hand. It was no problem to adjust the straps to a perfect fit for me.
I am very pleased with my purchase and strongly recommend it to others who like me don't want to spend a lot, but do want a quality product that serves its purpose. As you can see, I love my new Dual Harness from OP/TECH USA and THE PRICE WAS PERFECT!

Comments about OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (Regular):
What makes this harness more useful than competing products is that it does not interfere with whatever tripod mount that you are using. I have L-brackets on my both of my DSLRs and can quickly mount either on the tripod when necessary. Other features that I like is that it is lightweight and can be adjusted to multiple configurations. I prefer installing OP/TECH Uni-Loop Connectors on my cameras rather than what is provided with the harness.

I had my doubts, but this thing saved the back of my neck, and keeps my shoulders from getting that weird kink from having a camera strap pull on your one side.
It's not built as well as some other competitors, but for the cost, and how easy it is to use my cameras now, it's a darn good compromise. I can carry three systems now, and not feel like I'm overwhelmed.

I purchased this product after several years of carrying my 1D mark III camera around my neck. This camera is heavy, especially when attaching a long lens, and tracking like this can give a real neck pain. So I got this dual harness to allow me to use the dual setup to carry just this camera while relieving my neck of its weight.

I ordered three styles, and chose this model. With the additions of some additional clips, we plan to use this to hike in Nepal, and use locally on short hikes. Provides support around the shoulders versus the neck. Very satisfied.

I shoot weddings and lots of portraits and concerts, this product helps me 10 fold! its affordable, cheap and best of all the harnesses do no strap onto the bottom of my camera bodies. the bad, it takes awhile to adjust everything correctly but once it does it works great and especially compared to the $ counterparts. besides that I owned Optek harnesses beforehand so i did not even need to replace the camera body quick releases.

After adjusting and readjusting the straps, I now have a very comfortable setup for two camera bodies. I used the harness for a few hours and even on a hike that involved some rock climbing. I like that each cameras is attached on both sides and not to the tripod socket. It's safer and easier to use with the tripod.
You need to keep the straps pretty long in order for you to bring them up to eye level, especially for vertical shots. It took a little time to get used to having the cameras hanging low.

Comments about OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (Regular):
I'm a rather skinny almost-6 footer that shoots stills and more recently DSLR videos for a living. My basic run-and-gun kit includes 2 DSLR bodies with grips, with a wide angle f/2.8 zoom on one and a 70-200mm zoom on the other.
Over the course of a shoot, all that weight adds up and begins to tell on the shoulders and back!
The OP/TECH USA is a great solution to my needs of a comfortable, in-field dual camera on-body carrying solution.
I'd initially been considering the range of products from the sniper(?) series, however, my style of shooting almost always requires me to use a monopod or tripod, these other products became a lot less useful since they attach directly into the camera's tripod mount screw.
As an improvement, I'd like to see a version of this product that includes an anti-theft deterrent like the hidden steel cord in a similar product from the competition. But then, I wonder how they'll make it still stretch and "bouncy"...
Oh, well!
Good product, works very well for me, and the price is quite reasonable IMO.

Doesn't spread the weight across both shoulders and your back, essentially the same as having a camera over each shoulder, no benefits to using this product over just carrying cameras, found it uncomfortable and downright painful! Wound up not being able to use it, will be returning it.

Comments about OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (Regular):
I am going on a trip which will require alot of walking. I really would prefer to not carry my full camera bag on all those long hikes. I want to be able to get to my cameras quick if I need to...with whichever lens I need at time So the harness is a great idea for such a thing.
Because I am a larger person but am in process of losing weight I opted for the regular harness and also got the extender straps to increase the size. Which would also allow me and the harness to work together in that process...also saving me money in having to get another small harness once I get to size I want.
The harnes makes for easy access to either camera when I need it without having to fiddle with getting my backpack flipped around to front so I can get a camera. Nor having to fiddle with connecting camera to the lens I might want. They are both right there ready to go.

I have used it once so far at a wedding reception and it does what it says. With a camera, lens, flash bracket and a flash, I wouldn't have been able to carry them for 5 hours with the Canon strap alone. This really worked. I will definitely recommend this product to a friend.

I have had neck pain since I toured South Africa with my DSLR and long telephoto lens. I finally figured out that my camera strap was riding across my lower neck in the back and causing the problem (duh!). The dual harness transfers the pressure to both shoulders instead and may help me enjoy traveling again....
It is clumsier than a simple neck strap--and a bit more difficult to adjust, what with all the straps. But it is worth it!

I used this to shoot a wedding last weekend. It makes carrying two cameras way easier on the back. I like how I can unclip one when I don't need it, and I can unclip both when I sit down to eat. You do have to fiddle with it at a bit until you figure it out, but once you're good, you're good.

I normally go birding with both binoculars and a camera. Frequently the camera has a long lens. This product gave me the ability to deconflict the normal straps and hold both items at the ready. I have used it with the Nikon camera and 200-400mm zoom lens, which is not a light lens. I would certainly recommend it.

Comments about OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (Regular):
I did a lot of searching and this was the best camera harness set up I could find, and the price was nice too. It evenly distributes the weight across your shoulders so there is much less neck or back strain. As others have said, if you are wearing two cameras be careful of them swinging and banging into things, but most of the time I use it with just one camera.
Being the photographer for my motorcycle club, this harness allows me to wear my camera while riding my bike and I can take quick point-and-grab shots of other riders with my left hand while still being able to ride and control my own bike. That is a huge plus for me.
On the other hand, when I am doing event photography I sometimes use a monopod with a quick release attachment and I can still quickly attach and detach the camera onto the monopod without unhooking everything from the harness.
The snap connectors are compatible with the Op/Tech camera straps I already use so it's easy to go back to a single camera strap when you don't want to wear the harness.
If you are an active photographer - someone who likes to climb a tree or a mountain to get that perfect shot, this does let you have the use of both of your hands but you do have to be careful of your camera banging into things, as you would with any harness.
To be honest, if I'm not carrying a second camera or an extra lens I kind of like using the additional straps to hook the whole harness onto both sides of my belt for more stability, the same way a firearm shoulder holster would have belt loops for stability. I have made my own elastic belt loops for this purpose.
I really have nothing negative to say about the harness, it is comfortable, versatile, and makes you look more pro when you are wearing it. I would use it at a wedding without feeling under-dressed.
