I own a couple of these and let other presenters borrow them. They work well. Never had any compatibility issue. I don't really like the new design though. It feels weird in your hand. Not sure about durability since I usually lose them before they break.

As a high school tech coach, this is one of several models of wireless presenters I am buying for my teachers to test out before we buy in bulk. This one is priced attractively, and the size, shape, and texture are perfect for the hand. It's super easy - no software install required. The only complaint I've gotten so far from the teachers is that it does not have the ability to click on hyperlinks, for example, for video links in a PowerPoint. This is something our teachers use often, so they still find they have to stick near the laptop to click the links, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a wireless presenter.

The pointer works straight out of the box once your PC installs the drivers (automatic under Win7).

I love how the receiver stores inside the presenter and that you don't need to sync the two together like my old one. It feels great in your hand. 3-year warranty is great too! It would be nice to have the mouse function on it but I guess you can't have it all. Last point I tried it with another R400 and they do not interfere with each other.

If you want to step up one level, Logitech has a higher end (R800) that has a green laser and timer which I also own and think is THE BEST presenter around.

I've used many remote presenters and this works the best with both Mac & PC. The battery indicator is a real plus and the fact that it uses AAA instead of those flat disk batteries makes it even more economical and user friendly. I will be buying more to include with the projectors I rent out.

This is a nifty little device for remote presenting. The USB slips into the body for storage and it all goes into a nice little carrying case and the whole unit is compact. Installation with Windows 7 was error-free. Haven't used it yet, just tested it, but think it will be great for my next presentation. Oh, and it has a laser pointer built in.
