This is the Epson Replacement Lamp for the 705HD Projector. The 200W UHE bulb has a life expectancy of 5000 hours in Eco Mode and 4000 hours in Standard Mode. It provides a light output of up to 2500 ANSI lumens. This lamp is also compatible with PowerLite Home Cinema 705HD, EX31 Multimedia, EX31 Professional Multimedia and EX51 Multimedia Projectors

Received a genuine Epson replacement lamp. Got 5000 hours in eco mode on my original lamp. Figured that I buy the same to hopefully get close to as many hours as the original. Most 3rd party lamps listed the rating at 2000 to 3000 hours. One thing I noticed is that the projector fan seems to be louder than before. I'm guessing that's wear and tear on the projector.

We needed this bulb quickly. I had heard they were expensive and diffiult to get. maybe the technology cost has improved because I found this was not the case. It also fit perfectly and is working just fine. the picture is clear and brighter than I recall.
