While I've not installed the lamp yet, I am sure it will be good because a) B&H said it was original Optoma and they are a very reputable company, but also because b) the box it came in is definitely an Optoma box! Don't ever make the mistake of getting an 'off brand' as those lamps just do not hold up. For complete lamp (including housing) that is OEM, B&H's price was [$] less than anyone else.
