The FireStudio Mobile from Presonus is a compact FireWire computer audio/MIDI interface and recording software system. It attaches to the FireWire port on a Mac or Windows computer and gives you inputs for microphones, instruments, MIDI devices, and digital signals; it provides you with powerful software for recording and mixing. The FireStudio Mobile can run on bus power and features 2 transparent microphone preamps that can provide professional condenser microphones with phantom power. There are 10 inputs total, including MIDI and S/PDIF, as well as 6 balanced line inputs giving you the ability to track a full band.
Studio One Artist recording software is included, which gives you the ability to utilize every input on the FireStudio Mobile and overdub an unlimited number of tracks. A wealth of virtual instruments (synths, drum machines, and samplers) and effects are included, as well as several gigs of loops and samples.
