This Ikelite 6441.31 External Color Correction Filter has a diameter of 2.2". The filter is shortened in-order to avoid vignetting on certain housings when the camera lens is at the widest angle.
This filter alters the blue color of warm salt water to give your subject a rich, natural tone. The filter also enhances the contrast of underwater photographs. It should only be used with available light.

Comments about Ikelite 6441.31 External Color Filter for 2.2" Ports for Bluewater (Shortened):
I purchased this item based on a rumor that it will fit the Eye of Mine GoPro housing with a few modifications. I had to melt away part of the outer ring to allow access to the power button. Underwater, this filter really helps to pop out the color, but you need to be less than 10-15 ft away for best results, and do not use this filter above a depth of 15ft.

Design allows easy on/off the housing as needed while underwater. Noticable difference in the pictures I've taken on sunny days.
