I replaced the cap on my Canon 100L IS Macro with this one...I can now take the lens cap on/off with the hood in place (unlike the original Canon cap). Not sure why Canon has not gone to this style of cap yet...these are definitely more convenient...

It does what it's meant to do, but I happened to be looking for a lens cap that has a deeper recession. The flat design (like the Canon one I was trying to replace) makes it too easy to hit the front element of the lens, if the element isn't recessed.

Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
If you have lens hoods you need this center pinch as the canon lens cover is clasped from the outside edges.

Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
Works as well as the Nikon snap for a fraction of the cost. And I don't have to advertise for them for free.

Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
I use Bower center-pinch lens caps on all of my lenses. The center-pinch design allows one to remove and re-install the lens cap with the lens hood in place. The design provides a large pinch area so that finesse is not required to actuate the mechanism.
Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
Works great. Good, cheap alternative to OEM.

Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
It seems to be of decent construction, and good enough as a cap. It grabs the thread nicely, and stays put. However, it does feel a little bit on the cheap side, so you get what you pay for.

Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
As long as Canon refuses to make center pinch caps I'll be buying these cheap caps. With a lens hood in place removing/replacing the Canon cap is a huge pain, you need a center pinch or you'll never bother to put the cap on at all.

Straight up this is an effective and cheap lens cap. Do you really truly need the word Canon or Nikon on the cap? No? Then buy this dudes and save yourself some dollars.

Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
Not only is this lens cap secure, but it is
very easy for an older person to use, as compared
with many of the other types of caps I have owned
over the past years. The easy grasp - either from the outside of the lens cap or the inner
clasp, the cap comes off and resecures easily.
I recommend it strongly for older people with
arthritis.

Works as advertised. Goes on easy but secure and comes off easy. Fits snuggly on lens threads. Big improvement over Canon's cap. I use this cap on my Canon 70-300 L.

Comments about Bower CS67 67mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
If you put "Nikon" on the front of the cap I would have no problem believing this was a manufacture's original cap. The spring loaded sides work fine and don't have a bunch of play or feel cheap. If you don't want to pay full price for a branded replacement and don't care about the name then I don't think you'll be dissapointed.
