The original Canon lens caps are difficult to remove/replace with the lens hood in place. Purchased these to replace the original caps for that reason and they work great; solid grip and can be "center-pinched" (as well as side) for removal and replacement. Replaced all my Canon lens caps with these caps.

I'm using Nikkor 24-120 72mm VR lens, I had the original Nikon lens cap that was lost, this cap apparently looks the same w/o the Nikon logo,
It does the job ok and cost less than half of the original…
But, it feels cheap plastic, the internal spring is weaker thus, it is not stick to the lens as the original does. since this product probably also will get lost in the future i didn't want to spend $16 on the original lens cap

Easy to use.
I like to leave the hood on the lens, and this allows me to put the cap on while the hood is mounted.

Sure beats the Canon lens cover, especially for someone with large hands when one must squeeze off with lens hood in place

Comments about Bower CS72 72mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
I use a lens hood and the factory Canon cap with the squeeze tabs on the outter ring are hard to access and it is very easy to get finger prints on your glass installing it. The cure? This Bower lens cap. The center squeeze points keep the fingers away fron the glass and is very accessable inside the lens hood. Love it!

Good price, and does the job. If you lost your cap, this is a good replacement. I am using this with Sigma 17-70mm lens and it works fine.

Comments about Bower CS72 72mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
I use this cap for my canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. When shooting with this lens, I always use a hood therefore it can be difficult to take a lens cap on and off. However, with this snap on cap I have no difficulty whatsoever. It helps to eliminate frustration and wasted time. What I like most about this cap is its strong, durable construction. The cap is a bit bulky compared to the standard cap that comes with the lens, but it well protects my lens so the bulkiness is not really a hassle. Overall a great product, and certainly a needed accessory for all.

Comments about Bower CS72 72mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
I equip all my lenses with bower's lens caps. I always use lens hoods, so when the hood is on, it's difficult to remove/put on the standard oem lens caps that you need to pinch from the sides. With the bower cap, you simply pinch the top on the cap, so you can access the front of the lens with not hassle even with the hood on.

The only 2 differences between this cap and Nikon's are that this cap is cheap and doesn't have a Nikon logo, but who cares as long as it does the job and it surely does.

I can't believe that Canon does not use this system for their caps. It allows one to reach in the hood and rempve or replace the cap. This cap is well made and stays on! I jus wished it was offered with logos for Canon, Nikon etc. I bought one for every pne of my lenses.

Comments about Bower CS72 72mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
It does what it's meant to do, but I happened to be looking for a lens cap that has a deeper recession. The flat design (like the Canon one I was trying to replace) makes it too easy to hit the front element of the lens, if the element isn't recessed.
