Functionally identical to Nikon caps
These caps are a much more affordable alternative to the Nikon caps, and are functionally equivalent. They fit snugly and the spring action feels like my originals.

These caps are a much more affordable alternative to the Nikon caps, and are functionally equivalent. They fit snugly and the spring action feels like my originals.
Minor differences between these and my original Nikon caps are (1) no logo branding, and (2) the black plastic is a slightly less saturated black, but barely noticeable.

I like the grip design. I prefer this design over Canon's lens caps. However, the canon lens caps are really well made as they use some higher grade plastic. You can see and feel that the plastic used on these are not as high as Canon's but I think they're durable enough to do the job. All in all, I am very pleased with this Lens cap. I gave it 3/5 because I think they could've designed this using a better material (and I may gladly pay a little extra for that).

I like the grip design. I prefer this design over Canon's lens caps. However, the canon lens caps are really well made as they use some higher grade plastic. You can see and feel that the plastic used on these are not as high as Canon's but I think they're durable enough to do the job. All in all, I am very pleased with this Lens cap. I gave it 3/5 because I think they could've designed this using a better material (and I may gladly pay a little extra for that).

Whenever I buy a new Canon lens, I buy one of these at the same time. Much easier to "lock" and "unlock" than the OEM Canon caps.
Canon, however, has just released a "Mark II" cap so I may not buy one of these again except as a replacement for a lost cap depending on how good Canon's design is.

Lost my 77mm original Nikon lens cap in the jungle of Amazon. Bought the CS77 as replacement. Comparing with the original Nikon cap, it is 99% similar in construction and look. Minus the big Nikon logo and $ difference in price.
