The GTV-DIGAUD-142 GefenTV Digital Audio Splitter 1:2 from Gefen allows you to send a single compressed 5.1 digital audio signal to two separate digital audio receivers/devices. This device provides an economical solution for splitting TOSLINK signals. It is well suited for use with single-zone amplifiers or can be employed to bi-amp an audio system.

Most of the digitial splitters are very cheap in the $8-$10 range and this one is in the $60.00 range. The difference is this one works, Most of the cheap ones either do not work at all or the sound is so degraded you would not want it. This product is worth the money. Simple setup and nothing else to do. It does it's job wiht ease and great sound quality.
