Comments about Jill-E Designs Small Camera Bag (Red with Croc Trim):
This bag is great! It holds my D600 & 2 lenses (85mm & 24-120mm). I also have room for my filters and my extra batter/charger. The think I like best about it is that it isn't obvious that you're carrying a camera bag. When I use my Lowepro bag I always feel like I am advertising that I'm carrying thousands of dollars of camera equipment. This just looks like a large purse. The included shoulder strap is a must if you carry it for long periods of time. I'm already looking for one just a little larger that will hold both my camera bodies. You won't be disappointed in this bag!

Comments about Jill-E Designs Small Camera Bag (Red with Croc Trim):
I love how sturdy this bag feels. It's cute and I know it will last me for years. confess that I had my eye on it for a while now and so glad I took the plunge! Great for walking around with - wouldn't use the bag for heavy duty transport as I would want more padding. But for out and about shooting, it's great!

Comments about Jill-E Designs Small Camera Bag (Red with Croc Trim):
I purchased this bag based on the good reviews that it has received, however I didn't like it.
I found this bag to be very uncomfortable, the outer pockets are very small, and the bag felt very bulky under my arm.
I've decided to purchase a dslr insert that can basically turn any handbag into a camera bag, hopefully that will do the trick.

Comments about Jill-E Designs Small Camera Bag (Red with Croc Trim):
I love this product...so much more than a camera bag! This bag has numerous pockets so I only have to carry this bag and not carry a purse or anything else. I was amazed when I opened it and saw that the interior was polka dotted. It doesn't look like to boring camera bag. I have gotten so many compliments on my "purse".

Comments about Jill-E Designs Small Camera Bag (Red with Croc Trim):
I love the look of this bag, primarily why I bought it. I also needed a small bag to carry a DSLR and 2 lenses on walkabouts. The bag is highly admired by those who see it.
However, if you carry heavy glass (I do), the bag isn't well-padded enough. (A problem with all jill-e bags except jack; I have owned 5 and had to send back 2). I dropped this bag from lap height getting out of a cab (I thought the strap was over my shoulder and it wasn't); bag went thud very heavily. When I got home and removed the lenses, both filters on both lenses had been completely smashed into the threads of the lenses, and both filters smashed, even with lens caps on.
Of course, it's great that I only smashed two $90 filters instead of two +$1300 lenses, but then again, a fall from not much more than 2 feet off the ground causing that much damage also smashes a lot of confidence in the security of the bag.
Course, I chalked that incident up to "my mistake." Until it happened again with a larger jill-e bag (the medium size), again, falling about 18in this time (not my fault; the strap broke clean off), and again two filters on two lenses getting severely smashed and embedded in the threads. I sent that bag back, but kept this one.
So to sum up, very attractive bag, but if you're carrying pro (heavy) equipment, don't count on the padding to save your gear if you drop the bag more than a few inches.

Comments about Jill-E Designs Small Camera Bag (Red with Croc Trim):
This bag is awesome, but they have the older version of the bag pictured. Go to the Jill-e website to see the new version. The straps are different and the attached coin purse is white with dots and matches the inside of the bag. I have gotten so many comments on my new camera bag. So much better than those boring black Canon bags.

Comments about Jill-E Designs Small Camera Bag (Red with Croc Trim):
I do event photography, most of which is done with one or two lenses and a tripod. These can be very formal events - I had been looking for a professional, stylish bag to carry my equipment in and this Jill-E "Small" bag is perfect. In it I can carry my camera body and up to three lenses, my flash unit, plenty of batteries and small accessories. The leather and stiching is of good quality. It is a deep, rich, red that looks really sharp with the dark brown contrasting trim. Note that you need to go to the Jill-E site to see what the bag looks like - the more recent version does not have the solid croc trim straps - they are red with a center stripe of the crock (more sophisticated styling in my opinion). The attachable zippered wallet is made of the canvas lining material with red leather corners (not solid leather) and the long shoulder strap is simple nylon webbing (ugh - the one thing I count it down on - older models had a leather croc strap). Note: I waxed the main zippers to make them move easier. I really debated between the red and the bone - now that I have received it, I may order it in bone as well!
