The PCT-10 from Pyle-Pro is a professional-quality audio cable tester that allows you to test a variety of cables with a single device. The unit can test cables with a combination of 3.5mm TRS, 1/4" TRS, XLR Male and Female, RCA Phono, 4-Pin Speakon, and Banana Plug connectors.
The tester has a 6-way switch allowing you to make quick cable selections. LED indicators confirm each conductor's continuity and connection, as well as battery and ground connection status. The rugged metal housing is designed for a long life of professional use.

Don't buy the warranty. They charge you $20 shipping plus you have to buy a money order. I paid less than 20 for the new unit.
It's nice that you can test a cable that has different connectors on each end. Built like a rock. Easy to use.

everybody hopes not to have to ever take this out of your case - but it's there if you need it, and it does what it's supposed to do - and well.

This unit is really heavy, it features nice LED indicators and has a very intuitive platform. It has rubber feet to ensure it's not moving, these could have been better but that really isn't an issue for a cable tester.
This unit basically has everything I need to check my audio interconnects. I wouldn't ask for more at this price.
For the quality I'd give it a 4/5 at maximum, as I've had an issue with one of the XLR sockets. The socket itself is pretty loose, as well as the connection with a plug, this can be very annoying considering it's a cable TESTER. You sometimes have to move it a little bit to get a good connection.
Overall it does its job pretty well, and gets a 4/5 from me for the XLR issue.
