First of all for whatever reason you want a megaphone, they are awesome! This megaphone is great for the price. Simple to use, but has only a few features. Has siren sound effect. Microphone is detachable so that it can be used as a handheld mic. Found it to be pretty loud, haven't tested other megaphones so I don't know how it would compare. Sound quality seems good, one issue I did have with it is that you have to be holding in the microphone button for about 2 seconds while it "charges up" before it will amplify your voice, this can get somewhat annoying. Of course you can lock the microphone to be always on if you like. Another downside is that it take 8 C batteries to power it.

The item arrived on time - actually a day early (thanks B&H)
The item was well packed. Instructions were clear. The microphone is clear to understand even at a far distance away. It's light weight, except for the 8C batteries it requires. Easy to use, nothing complicated.
I haven't come across any cons yet. Used once so far.

This is a very loud megaphone. Very heavy duty with all the features you need. Voice at max can be heard for up to a mile or so. However the siren goes for more than a mile. The only thing that is a bit frusturating is that the carry strap is kinda small, and that the siren is either on or off. Other than that, this is a great buy at a great price.

We use the Megaphone for our Triathlon team. It is powerful enough to communicate to our lifeguards in kayaks over a half mile away. The siren is a bonus for starting practices and races.

I had to replace an older megaphone and had no clue what to buy. I read the reviews on this one and bought it. Works better than the old one I had much louder. Had the features I wanted, I just need to get my voice heard. The price was good, I thought I would have to spend more money to get one as good as this.

Unfortunately, I entrusted the first bullhorn to one of my union members, and it came up missing! So, since I was in charge of the horn, I had to replace it. So, I had to buy one to replace it. I asked the people in the media services department here at my job about one and they referred me to this company. I could not be more surprise with the sound and the light weight of this mega phone! I'd recommend it to anyone whose looking for a good mega phone! I love it!
Thanks so much,

Easy to use. Very loud. Can't find a better one for the price, and for that matter can't find one better without paying hundreds of dollars more.

I am an assistant principal of a large high school. This product help me in the halls during passing periods. I am able to inform the students how much time they have left before the bell rings as well as play music for them and dance. The kids love it.

You will be hard press to find a megaphone that works as well as this one does for the money.[...]it was more than I expected. Most of the other products I found on line were much more expensive for the same features. Would recommend this to anyone in the market.

I was looking for a way to sound a severe weather alarm in our 40,000SF facility. I was skeptical, given the price, but this bullhorn is really solid & I feel certain the built in siren will be heard. You do have to hold the button a few seconds before speaking.

I went to a children's camp this past summer and had to use a megaphone they had. It was a 15W. Man what a huge difference. Turned up as loud as it could go, people still couldn't hear me. Those who could, couldn't understand me. I just had to put it down and speak loud enough on my own. That's pretty sad. I barely even have to turn the PMP50 up for it to be loud enough for people hear me and clearly understand what I am saying. Thanks for making such a great product!

I use this for small local sports tournaments (several hundred players/spectators). It is perfectly loud enough for one small field but not much more than that, and if you are on one far side, the sound can't reach all the way over. It is very easy to use, I appreciate the shoulder strap very much and I also like the detachable mic so you can hold it over your head or keep it around your shoulder while speaking into it.
The only complaint besides the lack of loud volume is the fact that you have to wait two seconds after pushing the trigger for sound to come through from the mic. Overall a solid product and a really great price.
