Comments about 16x9 Inc. 169-HDWC75X72 0.75x Wide Angle Converter:
This is a very nice lens. Don't mount it over a UV filter or you will get vignetting. Outside of a mattebox on rails I don't see a way to filter the lens once it is mounted. Despite contrary indications in the description this lens does not have front threads for filters. It is a multi-coated lens and I am sure it has uv protection although that's my educated guess based upon the color of the coatings. For a wide angle adapter it has little aberration. Wide area views in capacious rooms or arenas are impressive. I've used this lens with both the Canon XHG1 and the Panasonic HPX170 with very satisfying results. The focus through is very sharp. Overall, very pleased with this lens and would highly recommend it.
