This camera backpack is great for me (and a nice birthday gift :)) - it isn't huge, but it has a lot of nifty features and is perfect for a photography hobbyist. I love that it has a built-in weather cover and tripod holder that both neatly tuck away when not in use. I also like that the camera and accessory (lenses and flashes) compartment is customizable. The only thing I would add would be a few more interior stash pockets, but there are enough to keep organized regardless.

I've been using this bag for about a week, but it's been decent so far. It doesn't look like a camera bag, which is great, but there are a few issues I have with it.
There are no outside pockets to store things like a notebook, phone, or water bottle in for quick access.
The top storage area is huge--I think it is roomier than the area for gear. I have a 5D Mark II, 70-200mm, and 16-35mm. They only fit if the 70-200mm is attached to the body, and it is still a pretty snug fit. Anything else I want to carry has to go in the top section.
I might return this bag to try another.

This pack holds my 6D plus 24-105 lens, flash, and SX-50 bridge camera, plus room for more, plus the upper compartment has quite a lot of room for filters, etc. and personals. The pack fits nicely on my back and is comfortable for my size (I'm not a huge person. Also, very durable fabric.

I am using this as a day trip bag to keep my camera gear separate from the snacks and extras needed for an outing with my 5 year old. This is the only bag I've found with the larger compartment. It is also lighter than most other bags I looked at. So far, I am impressed with the amount of room for both camera gear and extras with the ability to adjust the compartments as needed.

I do wish it had side pocket or two.

Comments about Lowepro Versapack 200 AW Backpack (Gray and Polar Blue):

I use this backpack to carry either a D7000 or a D700 with a zoom lens (usually 28-300) plus a small-medium length zoom lense. Also filter kits, cleaning kits, mini torch and a light jacket. It's fine for travelling light as I hike to locations for talking pictures. I haven't yet carried my tripod on it but the attachment (and my back) looks like it will cope with a light weight tripod.

I like the quality materials that are used, it's light weight, and it's versatility in carrying personal as well as camera gear.

It probably won't carry lots of gear, I have a larger/heavier back pack for that. But for most outings where I don't need all my gear this is fine. These days I travel light and I absolutely think this is a great versatile product for that purpose for day hikes and alike.

I normally get sore shoulders and back with other backpack but the Versapack was extremely comfortable. I could carry my gear for up to 10 hours without any issues.
The all weather cover that came as part of the backpack was put to good use.
The only con I have is that the zipper for the top section was a bit hard to zip up if you don't have the cover settled properly. It may take a bit of getting use to.

I gave this as a gift to my daughter, who wanted a nice-sized camera backpack for a trip she's taking. It easily holds her D200 and lens, and needed accessories, and spare clothing, etc. She especially likes the color, as it doesn't scream "I have a camera in this backpack."

Love this bag. I use it for my Cannon Rebel EOS T2i. I don't bother with carrying a purse because the top portion is big enough to carry necessities like my wallet, make up, snacks, etc. It fits very comfortably on my 5'1" frame. The side access makes it easy to get my camera out and put back into the bag without having to fully take the bag off. The camera storage compartment is very spacious with plenty of padding and can be rearranged to suit your camera style/lens/flash. I would have liked to have easier access to the upper storage portion. To get into that part, I do have to take the pack off completely.

I love that it has a built-in weather cover and tripod holder that both neatly tuck away when not in use. I also like that the camera and accessory (lenses and flashes) compartment is customizable. The only thing I would add would be a few more interior stash pockets, but there are enough to keep organized regardless.

I wanted space for personal items, and the top pocket is about as big is it's going to get without a huge bag. It's very comfortable and my Nikon body and 2 zoom lenses fit in the bottom part easily. The only thing I wish is that it had an exterior pocket for a cell phone and possibly one for a water bottle.

Hip belt is not as substantial as a regular daypack, especially considering the weight of camera equipment. The space for personal items in addition to camera equipment was a must in considering different options.

The storage and way the zippers work are great. Wish it had a pocket on side for a water bottle.

i took my backpack on an overnight stay, and it had a good amount of room for all camera gear and enough space in the top compartment for clothes and some accessories. Awesome bag, and super comfortable even with weight..Its my first real camera storage bag, with not much else to compare it too, but highly recommend it to anyone..
