Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT014 Tripod:

This tripod is okay but I don't trust it. It is weak on the legs when extended all the way, but I didn't buy it to extended to its maximum, so it work for me in that regard. I needed at tripod to walkabout and these in good now.

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT014 Tripod:

Can't get low to the ground because the center column is long. This tripod would be much better without the center column -- my RRS ballhead ends up spinning around because it's difficult to lock down the column. Won't withstand wind but fairly sturdy for a walk-about tripod. Oh, just don't go beyond 2 leg lengths-- the legs are so thin it won't be stable even with a short lens. But nice for short heights.

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT014 Tripod:

This is the lightest and most compact tripod I've ever owned. The quality is great and it sports many features. Coming from a much more sturdy and beefy set of slik 700dx legs, these feel a lot less stable, but that comes with the travel tripod territory. If you need something light, this is your man. Or woman?
I recommend an accompanying remote release
