Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT313 Tripod:

Recent owner, after looking at many different tripods I choose this for its durability, height and 26lb weight capacity. I use this for astrophotography and I needed something very sturdy. The build seems very good. I gave this 4 stars since at the time of this review I've only owned it for just over a week

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT313 Tripod:

I rarely take photos without using a tripod and I'm usually within easy walking distance of my car so, weight and price considered, I find this to be an excellent tripod. What I like most about it is that it is sturdy and not likely to have any movement that would cause the photo to be less sharp. For me, it took a little getting used to extending the sections and tightening them with the twist knobs as my previous tripod had levers. If you are considering this, or any other tripod, be sure to look at height without center post extended as this is the height that really matters. No one I know ever extends the center post as it makes movement of the camera more likely when a photo is taken. Induro makes similar tripods of various heights and load capacities. It is sturdy, but not compact or lightweight. Those are trade-offs to be considered in what tripod you purchase. Five stars because it does what I was looking for it to do.

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT313 Tripod:

Excellent quality and stability makes this a perfect tripod. Lots of different settings for any possible shooting location. Comes with a small tool pack and spikes for un-even terrain. A bit heavy, but if you want great stability and do not want to spend more on carbon fibre tripods, then this might be a very good choice.

after coming to try and replace a part from my Manfrotto tripod, I decided to go and buy a new tripod. Typically I'm a brand loyalist but I was shown the Induro. I've already used this a few times and it's twice as strong and much better with my slider. The price was a bonus!

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT313 Tripod:

I researched and researched, read reviews, got recommendations, and ended up coming to this tripod. I now have the Induro AT 313/Sirui K10X combo. Couldn't be more satisfied! Way taller than I need, Way more sturdier than I need, and can go even shorter than my old one! It is possible with this tripod to remove and flip the centre column, so your camera is right next to the ground, upside down. You can't beat that. Also has a hook for sandbags, foam for your hands, (really useful where I live) and spiked feet with the kit. My shipment arrived in three days. (I live all the way up in Canadia.) I'm very confident this tripod will be able to hold a 70-200 f2.8, with a tripod collar. The only thing I don't like, but I also know it's not the tripod's fault, is the fact that I have a battery grip on my camera, which makes the camera way less sturdier when on a tripod. Also, this is a fairly heavy setup, being such a steady tripod. This is just nitpicking, and these are the only things I can think of. This tripod/head setup is AMAZING.

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT313 Tripod:

This is a great tripod for the cost. Being aluminum it's a little heavier than some of the more pricey carbon fiber tripods but for what you spend it's perfect. The legs are secure when tightened with a seal that has held up well with sand and saltwater from a beach session. It comes with a nice bag and leg accessories that help it be a little more secure footing.

I bought this tripod to use with a geared head for landscape photography and hummingbird photography. This tripod is very solid. the legs are easy to adjust. I appreciate the tools that come with it. It is heavy but not overwhelmingly so. the enclosed carry bag won't close completely with a Manfrotto geared head attached.

This tripod is rock solid and very well built. However, when I opened the box it was longer and a little heavier than I expected. However, due to the stability of the tripod, I will take a litlte extra weight for the quality of the build. It has a nice carrying case and tool kit. If you're looking for a good all around tripod for a decent price, this is your tripod. However, if you're only looking for a travel tripod, this is not for you.

After too many years it was time to retire the Star-D Pro I bought in 1974 and a friend suggested this. Couldn't be more pleased. When I first used the tripod I extended the legs their entire length and the viewfinder was above eye level (I'm a tad over 6'). And I can lower the tripod almost to the ground with the legs extended straight out. This should last another 40 years.

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT313 Tripod:

I use this at home where I want the stability and don't need to portability of a small carbon fiber tripod. Solid, stable, and extends more than high enough for me without the center column. Good product and a good value. Probably not the right choice for a long hike but a great choice for stability if you don't have to carry it too far.

Comments about Induro Alloy 8M AT313 Tripod:

Heavy duty, solid, and stable. I was initially looking at the AT413, but I am happy that I decided to go with this model instead. It weighs 5.8 lbs, which some say is a bit on the heavy side compared to CF legs, but for me I have not found it to be too heavy to this point. But then again, I have not yet gone on any long hikes with it yet, having only used it on a few short trips. I am impressed with the build quality and workmanship so far. Also, I am not a "working" pro", and after researching tripods online and reading many different reviews, I felt that this tripod would work well for me. I am using this tripod with an Acratech GV2 ballhead, a Nikon D800, and mainly a 24-120 f4 lens, shooting mostly landscapes. Hopefully, I will still feel this way and be happy with it in a year or more from now after I have used it more extensively.

Rugged and built like a tank this Induro tripod is well built. It holds a Canon 100-400mm lens with ease and has no wobble . I was impressed with the feel and attention to detail of this tripod. I feel confident that my equipment will not accidentally tip over or fall because of wind. Very satisfied .
