Comments about Kino Flo Diva-Lite 401 Fixture:

Other than less heat and fewer amps used I prefer the Kino Flo lights over say a tungsten fresnel because of the quality of the light. I have 1k fresnels I use and the Diva 401 smokes it in output and the fluorescent light is far, far more flattering than a tungsten light. The light quality is EXACTLY what I've been looking for and I plan on adding 2 more Diva Lite 401s to my regular kit. I compared the Divas to every other model Kino Flo and in dollar per lumens in output the Diva Lite 401 has the most bang for the buck. I listed price as a con but you're getting unsurpassed quality that is the standard in the industry and they're USA made.

Definitely get the offset adapter as one of my Divas did a face plant with the stand from 7' into a concrete floor and just broke 1 bulb. Yes, they're durable lights, but the difference in stand stability with the offset adapter is night and day so it's definitely worth the price.

Also get a flozier because it's like staring into a Xenon headlight without one and it will stress the talent's eyes if the fixture is anywhere near their field of vision. The flozier fixes that and the half stop one works for me.

We use only the best lighting for our national commercials. We have used B&H photo many times to fill all of our production needs but on the other hand we always do our research. After looking online for some time for the best price we made our purchase from B&H photo. Best price we could find online with the service we need to ensure the best posible product and support. Thanks again B&H! We shall be back.

Comments about Kino Flo Diva-Lite 401 Fixture:

I know that the reputation of the Diva-Lite is well known but it really is true. Such a great light to have in your arsenal. It lights subjects beautifully, it's easy to use, you can easily go from daylight balanced to tungsten balanced just by quickly changing the lamps, it's light weight and did I mention it lights subjects beautifully?

It also runs so cool and has low power consumption compared to traditional fixtures. Thinking about buying this? Do it.

Lots of Light in a small package. I like being able to use daylight balanced bulbs. It helps shoot natural looking video interviews in peoples homes. Lights can be a little fragile, otherwise 5 stars!

Comments about Kino Flo Diva-Lite 401 Fixture:

This light bank performs well and produces tons of light for most video and photo uses for it small electricity consumption and low heat output. The only issue I have is the weight, make sure you have sandbags on the light stand to keep it from falling over. Maybe Kino-flo could redesign the arm to get the light more centered over the stand.

I use this as a keylight for interviews.
So much better than those cheap knock offs.
It is built well and the quality of the light is perfect.
After renting them for years it was tim to buy them.
This is the first light I usually chose now.
