Comments about Bowens Gemini 750 Pro Monolight:
After having such great experiences with my Bowens Gemini 500 Pro monolights, I bought two Gemini 750 Pro monolights to use with them.
They offer a bit more power while still maintaining fast flash duration of 1/2300, consistent color temperature, and solid metal construction the you expect with Bowens.
Additionally, they boast a wide variety of available light modifyers and compatible accessories, and also come at a price point that, while not the cheapest, is far more affordable than comparable Profoto setups.
Plug these into a Bowens Travelpak and you can use them miles away from any electrical outlet. Combine this with their international voltage-seeking and they are likely the most portable lights on the market right now.
Additionally, these are radio ready. Simply plug in a Bowens Pulsar or PocketWizard radio card for reliable radio triggering. No more cables or bulky tranceiver units to mess with.
Perhaps the only con is that Bowens Gemini Pro monolights are a tad bulkier than some competing brands, but this is actually a positive. These lights are built like tanks to withstand the daily abuse of photography assignments.
If you pick these up, highly recommend you also invest in the Bowens Gimlet carrying case. It helps me to transport these through the city safely, even banging around on the train.
I specialize in fashion and editorial work, both location and studio, and recommend these without reservation.
Truly amazing lights.
