I am a wedding photographer and an average wedding shoot is at least 7 hours. I've been searching for a comfortable camera strap that doesn't leave my neck feeling stiff and one that is comfortable against my skin as well. FINALLY, I've found that camera strap! The strap is padded in the neck area and I really like the way it connects to the camera, I've had straps come undone before and I really can't see that happening with this one. I will be getting a few more for my other cameras. I just wish it was a bit longer because I am pretty tall and I like a longer strap. Other than that, it's a pretty great product.

I've been using a Black Rapid for outdoor shoots where it's basically the camera and lens and it's GREAT, but wanted a strap that would allow me to attach additional accessories I use when shooting weddings (ie. flash/bracket, cables, etc.) without having it hanging at my side and upside down as with the BRapid. Here are the pros and cons that I've found so far.

PROS: Good durability, easy to wear for long periods of time, easily holds my gear and feels secure, side strap clips allowing the user to unlock the camera from neck portion of the strap.

CONS: Rough portion of the strap that comes in contact with the back of your neck. Be sure to have a shirt between your skin and the strap, or you'll have a nice red neck burn after about 15-20 minutes.

Comments about Trekking Comfort Camera Strap:

Yes, this is much more comfortable than the stock manufacturer's strap. But it doesn't last long.

I bought 2, for use with Canon 5D2 & 5D3. This strap is not made for professionals, as after about a year of use, both straps began tearing along the stiches. Apparently it can't support the weight of pro cameras and lens.

Would be nice if the side pockets were bigger, so they could fit extra batteries (LP-E6) too.

Comments about Trekking Comfort Camera Strap:

This is the second strap of this make and model that I have purchased. The first remains on my D300 and the new one adorns my new D800. The thick padding reduces neck discomfort when carrying a DSLR and telephoto lens.

I returned this because it was too wide for my neck to be comfortable. However, it is made well and would not be as sticky as the default Canon strap.

Comments about Trekking Comfort Camera Strap:

I bought the strap for use on my new Canon 5DII.
The strap that came with it was OK, however, this strap is much more comfortable and has pockets for extra memory cards or battery. With the Canon 24-105 lens and flash, I needed something whit more padding. The only drawback, it is hard to fish through the camera's neck strap mount.

Comments about Trekking Comfort Camera Strap:

I needed a strap to replace the one which came with the camera a Nikon pro body and by the time I attached my 70-200 f2.8 your talking some poundage. Will any strap make this kind of weight feel like a feather? I doubt it, but the comfort strap did make life a lot easier. My first test was an all day outing on Catalina Island from 9:00 am to 5:30 PM and I was very pleased with the comfort of the strap. It does give a bit so you do not feel the weight of the camera with every step; and believe me I took a lot of steps. It is a very light strap but yet it is of good materials and good workmanship kudos for that. In all honesty after about 3 hours I was starting to stretch my shoulders and head back but then I brought one arm through so the strap went across my body off one shoulder and found it very comfortable in that position and it was still easy to raise and shoot. So by periodically changing from shoulders to neck even after all day my neck and back were not sore; more importantly I wasn't sore the day after either. I was also carrying a backpack with extra lenses, Speed-lights, batteries, ...you get the idea; I was loaded down. I would definitely recommend this strap and I love the integrated stretchy pockets on each side which is perfect for compact flash media, it was nice to just reach over and grab a new card without having to go to the backpack; again kudos. The pockets will fit a Nikon El3e battery but it is very tight and would probably stretch the pocket out but it does close with velcro so if that is what you want to use it for, no worries. I also like the way the strap attaches to the camera with just the webbing, very strong and there is no plastic or metal to scratch your investment. The price of the Comfort strap is extremely reasonable, it is light weight but strong, very comfortable, has the nice pocket features built in, and it has a very nice pro look to it. Very nice product; Well Done Trekking

Replaced existing Canon strap. Pockets great for extra cards and battery (although the Canon 50D battery is a very tight fit). Also, the strap attachment to camera is very tight but squeezed through. Study. Like the snap apart feature so I can remove it easily when using tripod mount and the extra set of straps for another camera so that the strap becomes interchangable.

I wanted a more comfortable camera strap than the one which came with the Nikon camera. This strap fills the bill exactly. It's a real pleasure to use.
