Comments about V.I.O. P.O.V. Chest Harness Kit:
I plan to use this with my ContourROAM camera and my i.Sound USB battery pack.
The Chest Harness is appropriately named.
I'm a compact guy with the harness strapped on its a good fit, a bit snug, but wraps itself firmly around my upper rib cage. About sternum height. It can be tightened pretty good so its a sturdy platform for the camera. It's well designed and well thought out. The belt straps are "springy" they have some type of elastic, so they can be tightened comfortably but not make you feel all tied up.
The pouch, bag or whatever you call it on the front is zippered, its of a waterproof mesh type of material, should not hold water or sweat.. which I think is good. Plenty of air flow to dissapate heat. It feels like something you'd call "tactical".
The awesome win is that the i.Sound 16000 mA battery fits completely and snugly in the bag, it doesn't shift around is stable and the bag zips up. There is a side flap on the front of the bag that covers an open slot into the bag, obviously originally designed to admit a camera cord for a camera feed or battery cable or something like that.. but its absolutely perfect for running a USB cord from the i.Sound USB battery pack out and up the strap to power the ContourROAM camera. It comes with some velcro "ring straps" that are on the rear strap for cable mangement, so I may run the power cord around on the belt and up the strap on my back.. it would look "neater".. my first impressions are this is really gonna work well.
Another cool thing is on my right side is the belt release clip. I'm right handed as are most people, so they really thought this through, its convenient to release and remove.
When you release it it comes off rather easily off your left shoulder. I tend to carry a pack on my right shoulder out of habit, so that explains the Left mount idea. All makes sense.
Details
The shoulder strap is precisely 1.5 inches wide, or 38 mm which appears to be within the 36 to 40 mm pseudo tactical "standard" width for goggle straps.
The horizontal belt is 1.0 inches wide and stretchy. The vertical "Shoulder Strap" is 1.5 inches wide and not stretchy, it is firm fabric, there is no deformation "give" in it, it retains its shape, its stable and flexible enough to bend but doesn't look like it would crease. Its the kind of stable fabric belt you would find on good luggage.
I used a cloth tape to measure with both, the tape had inches and mm marked on it. The dimensions were pretty easy to make out.

Comments about V.I.O. P.O.V. Chest Harness Kit:
This harness hold the POV securly and with easy access, both the helmet mounting and should mounting are great. If I had to pick one flaw is that in the pouch the recorder unit sits low so you have to pul it out a bit to turn the power on and off but while running it's covered so that the power won;t be hit accidentily. If you are thinking about getting the pouch then get this package because the added harness is so useful.

Just spent a week in the Whistler Mt Bike Park, the harness kept the Camera secure and out of the way, the cord management system worked great. Hardly noticed I was wearing a camera.
