FSR FL-500P-6 Floor Box (6" Depth)

The FSR FL-500P Floor Box has been specifically designed to handle the rigors and demands of everything from courtrooms, educational institutions, religious institutions as well as public venues. The FL-500P features a lift-off top that provides complete and total access to the interior connections which can range from telecommunications to simple audio and video connections.

When access is not required, the box is completely sealed to permit extensive and unencumbered foot traffic to pass over it. The only visible signs of its installation will be the minimal carpet edging. Available in either brass or aluminum edging, the low-profile setup is both UL and CUL approved.

When this box is used on grade, it should be encased in concrete to prevent contact with the grade. To ensure compliance, we recommend using the FSR Pour Pan Accessory. The FSR Pour Pan can handle trickier installations whether on soil, rock, gravel, etc. The Pan comes with leveling feet which prevent shifting during the pouring of concrete.

Note! Does not come with the cover (sold separately). This box is not applicable for direct contact with grade (soil or gravel). For grade applications, use the FL-GRD2/4 pour pan as a foundation before box installation - Boxes and covers are sold separately - These boxes are designed for the new UL safety standard for scrub water. The standard only applied to boxed installed in concrete, not raised access boxes
