Comments about AverDigi 8-CH Hybrid DVR Card:

If you have IP cameras and other cameras with a straight video source, a hybrid DVR card is the way to go. I tried other cards, tried to save money but nothing beats the satisfaction of this card. It works and works very well on Intel AND my AMD machine. Setup takes some time and there are a myriad of options to select. This takes time but it is worth it. I've been up and running for over 2 weeks. No issues.

About the only negative is the relatively high price of the card but I felt safe giving it a try knowing the B&H return policy was behind the sale and I couldn't get stuck. But the card works great and I'm keeping it.

The manual is a whopping 330 some pages but the options dictate the heavy literature.

The card works with OS through Win 7 and remote viewing for iphone, Palm,Blackberry, Simbian and Android are supported. Avermedia web site has downloads of software upgrades as they improve and support is responsive.

Love this card. Nothing else I've tried even comes close.
