Comments about Bowens Remote Control Handset for Gemini:
Easy to use and set up - only needed to refer to the manual briefly. Now I can control my two strobes independently without touching them.
Remember this is an infra-red remote, not radio - so you need to point it at the IR receiver on the strobe - and all will be well.

Comments about Bowens Remote Control Handset for Gemini:
This remote is perfect for working in my small home studio. Unfortunately, he did not usable in outside of the studio. The signal is very weak. This is the only negative of this product. I can recommend this unit for my friends only to work in a small studio. Although this is a balanced product in terms of price and quality, it will have a very limited sector of usage.

Comments about Bowens Remote Control Handset for Gemini:
I can't believe I didn't buy one of these remotes sooner.
This remote is simply a must if you are working with Gemini monolights on boom arms -- makes changing your power levels a snap. It's so nice not needing to lower my lights to adjust the settings anymore.
Additionally, the remote's icons make it easy to both learn and use.
Honestly, it's as easy to use as operating any TV remote.

Comments about Bowens Remote Control Handset for Gemini:
i really like the size of this unit, but found that it's signal strength was very weak. as a result, i could not reliably use it to adjust the settings on my bowens lights. i returned it and got the RC3 remote. the RC3 is a lot bigger (which is a bummer) than this one, but it's signal strength was much better and i don't have any problems using it to change the settings on my lights from 8-10 feet away. the IR beam smaller one worked sometimes and didn't work at other times. and i was only using it from 8-10 feet away

Comments about Bowens Remote Control Handset for Gemini:
This remote does everything it says it will as long as you are close to the flash and you can see the little ir receiver window on the side of the flash. Unfortunately this isn't the case most of the time you would want to use this device!
For instance, if you are metering, the flash head is usually pointing at you, the receiver is on the side - it doesn't work! If you're at your camera and the receiver happens to be on the wrong side - it won't work.
I'm a bit disappointed as my tv remote seems to be able to receive a signal bounced off a wall, off the roof, almost anywhere in the room, from a greater distance! Maybe this one is underpowered or something?
The only time I find it useful is if I have a light high on a stand. I can walk right up to it, point the remote at the receiver window and adjust it.
