Suitable for most DSLR cameras, the GMB/DSLR offers a higher "seat" to accommodate different cameras and optional add-ons, such as audio adapters. The GMB/DSLR can be maneuvered horizontally and vertically, providing perfect alignment with a mattebox and lens, all with just with a twist of a knob.

I use the Genus DSLR adapter bar system with the Genus Bravo Follow Focus System, on both a tripod and on a rig in a run-n-gun situation. So far, I've used this on 2 video shoots with interviews and cutaways.
PROS - The bar system is very sturdy, reliable and well-made.
CONS - It's a bit difficult to use the knob to tighten to my 5D MkII camera because of the small 2" space. However, not a big deal because I only need to screw on once at the beginning of the day.
The Genus Follow focus + Adapter Bar System is significantly heavier than the Zacuto Single Action Follow Focus.
However, not a deal breaker. It's a high quality, reliable product.

It is a very flexible piece of adapter that allows you to adjust your camera to fit follow focus or matte box.
