The R190.510B Replacement Center Column worked perfectly in my Manfrotto 725b tripod as a replacement to the ballhead mount. Now I can use any head i wish.... Works great with my 7D and large lenses.

I bought this column to replace the integrated center column/3-way head on the Manfrotto 7301YB tripod. The replacement column fits perfectly, is light, and is longer than the original. With a Joby X ballhead I now have a good, inexpensive travel setup that is lighter than the 7301 with its original head.

Cut the column with a hacksaw to a shorter length for use with 190XDB. Very stable and less than half the price of the 190XCCSB Short Centre Column. Didn't want cut the centre column that came with the tripod. Doesn't include the Column End Cap R190,320.
