The SAGE Xpander Pack is a software bundle that includes all 5 of Spectrasonics' SAGE Xpander expansion libraries for the Stylus RMX virtual instrument. The bundle provides percussion loops and sounds in various genres, from straight ahead drum beats and kits, through ethnic percussion, and onto heavily processed sounds for hip-hop and techno productions.
Each groove is presented in SAGE "activated" versions that allows for changing the pitch, tempo, feel and pattern independently without using any host or proprietary DSP.

Comments about Spectrasonics SAGE Xpander Pack - For Stylus RMX:
I really like Stylus. The out-of-the-box beats are really useful in quickly getting an idea out with excellent production quality and tweaking ability via effects, note randomness and mixing. I often hand tweak the midi notes themselves to change things up in the way that I like later down the road after I've built other qualities into my song. I've not used them in a live situation, but Stylus is built with that in mind but you will need to know your library because it's pretty big once you add in the expander packs
My big complaint is that there's a bit too much by way of kick snare kick snare 4/4 beats. But that's probably more a function of popular music in world.
