The Bower RCWN2R Wireless Shutter Release Set is an extended range wireless system designed for professional and advanced amateur users of the Nikon D70S and D80. The set consist of the receiver and the shutter release transmitter.
The remote system is very handy for taking pictures of subjects that are difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time exposure. The remote fires the camera from a maximum distance of 90' (27.43m). Sixteen transmission channels are available to prevent interference between other cameras using wireless remotes.
Note! The receiver takes 2 "AAA" batteries (not included)

Comments about Bower RCWN2R Wireless Shutter Release Set:
Shooting extreme close-up of birds (24") the Bower Wireless Release works perfectly and predictably. Once I got the hang of using it, watching for the green light to appear, letting you know the next push will activate it, it worked beautifully for split second response times.
It's simple, easily adapted, predictable, split second timing, great range 20' plus and stores easily. I'm thrilled.

Comments about Bower RCWN2R Wireless Shutter Release Set:
I have been experimenting with HDR photography and this has helped me to get the shots without disturbing the camera. It's a bit odd that the receiver end just dangles from the camera... but it is very light and it ultimately works well.

Comments about Bower RCWN2R Wireless Shutter Release Set:
This is a great device. It feels pretty cheap when you hold it, but it does the job well. No more shaky camera on a tripod from unsteady hands pressing the button!

Comments about Bower RCWN2R Wireless Shutter Release Set:
This remote shutter release works in front, to the side and behind the camera. Its working range is very impressive and it even works through walls. I am yet to find something negative to say about it. I have not owned it long enough to attest to its durability, however.
