The VisibleDust EZ Sensor Cleaning Kit with VDust Plus contains a 1ml bottle of VDust Plus and 4 (Green) 1.0x Vswab. The kit is used to remove unknown stains. It is a multi-ingredient, ISO alcoholic solution that removes water or oil fast, evaporates fast and is excellent for cleaning the mirror with a DHAP swab. The streak free motion is best used for fluorine coated sensors.

- The VisibleDust sensor cleaning solutions and swabs are calibrated to work together to produce optimal and safe results. Please do not use alternative solutions with this swab. A simple grain of quartz which is found in cheaper solutions is enough to produce an expensive scratch on the low pass filter. These solutions are manufactured to the highest standard of quality that is practiced in pharmaceutical industries.
- VisibleDust solutions are calibrated for normal evaporative rates:
To keep the swab moist at all time to reduce the risk of scratches
To increase the cleaning power, less swabbing more economical
To reduce friction by being moist at all times during swabbing - The potential risk of fast evaporative solutions used as sensor cleaning is the following:
An increase in the risk of damage and stress to sensor coating by using premature dry swab
A great reduction in cleaning power by shortening the contact time between contaminants and solution due to the increased evaporation rate of the solution
An increase in friction by using a premature drying swab, resulting in static charge build up leading to an even greater dust accumulation on the sensor - These cleaning liquids are intended to be placed on the swab first, so the concern for liquid seeping through the sensor is not valid or accurate. On the other hand, the disadvantages of a generic brand for fast evaporative liquid used for sensor cleaning may in fact cause damage to the sensor by requiring repeat swabbing and is not recommended.

I bought this product and was surprised at how easy it was. 1 swipe and my sensor is spotless. Outstanding product. Just use a manual and clean it yourself. What a find.

I have been cleaning DSLR sensors for many years. The VDust brush I had was stolen and I bought this kit to remove some spots on my 5D MII. The first sweep left streaks at the bottom of the frame and I had to do it over again (of course using a new swab). This left a few spots and a third try was required. I finally bought a new VDust brush and removed the dust with it. I probably will go to a service station to get the sensor cleaned next time.

I have used these products before. This batch did not dry as quickly. After wiping it took the solution a long time to dry, and had to blow it to get it to dry completely. I had to wipe the sensor frequently trying to "dry it down." I have to find the type with the different solution. It is hard to tell by looking online if you are getting the "water stain" or "oil stain" solution. After reading reviews others seem to have done better, perhaps... a bad batch. ?

It only took me a couple passes to get the dust and saliva spot on my sensor. (Don't try blowing out dust with your mouth . . . even if you are out in the field without your Red Rocket.) Negative? I do wish that manufacturer wasn't so stingy with the tiny vial of cleaning solution.

It work perfect on my 1ds image sensor... It took 3 swab to rip off the Whold duster .. So happy with it ....I recomend u guy use this stuff with one can of air blower .... Great price ... So I don't have to spend 40$ .......and u don't need 12 swabs it too much also ...4 is enough ......

I had smeared some of the internal lubricants onto the sensor with the arctic butterfly (not recommended for the price), but with one swipe it was gone. I didn't even have to flip the swab and give it a second pass. Can't beat it for the price. I will now always carry one of these kits in my bag.

I had a very dirty sensor and had already tried to clean it with another kit. When this kit arrived I figured it would succeed where the other didn't. After using all the swabs, two spots are still there that will not clean by this product. Hope to find something that'll clean my 5D mk2!

I went through the whole pack the first time learning how to use it. The next pack went much better and I got the sensor clean. a) blow out the dust first, b) keep the exposed sensor face down, c) do one swipe and save the other side for a 2nd use.
