The first pair was stolen. Now my husband and I each have a pair. Lightweight, powerful enough for birdwatching. Perfect for travel or hiking.

Comments about Nikon Travelite VI 10x25 Binocular:
These were purchased as a gift for my son who travels the train along the Hudson River. He wanted good, light weight, small binoculars to view wildlife and activity along the river during his commute. This is his review, "I just watched an eagle soaring over New Hamburg. I'd say they work exactly as expected. Thanks!"

Been hiking for over 30 years, best binoculars I've carried. Lightweight enough to pack all the time, quick and easy to focus when that surprise sighting might be fleeting. Loved mine so much I purchased this pair as a gift for another relative that hikes.

Comments about Nikon Travelite VI 10x25 Binocular:
I'm a birder who bought these for travel to Africa. Overall, I'm pleased, but be aware of the limitations here.
PRO's:
These binocs are very light (9 oz) and compact. They focus quickly and can focus down more closely than I expected for 10x binocs (e.g. to watch butterflies). They have a nicely clear Nikon quality image. The magnification also provides good close-up detail - provided you have directly locked onto your bird (know how to aim binoculars accurately) and have sufficient light.
Limitations:
The relatively high power (10x) of these binocs restricts the width of view. I would not recommend these for beginning birders or anyone with unsteady hands. That power also restricts the exit pupil to 2.5 mm, meaning that although images in high light (when your pupil is narrow) are fine, seeing birds in dimmer light (dawn & dusk) provides a dimmer image.
The 8x version of these binocs would be a better all-round binocular for most people but consider these if you're experienced, want the power, and don't usually bird early & late.

Comments about Nikon Travelite VI 10x25 Binocular:
Got these to take on a motorcycle camping trip, so space was at a premium. They worked great, without costing much in the way of room or weight. Granted, they aren't as powerful as my large Nikon binoculars, but they were just the ticket at Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I think they are great being what they are, small binoculars that bring things closer in nature, and they will probably work well at indoor performances as well.

just use my binoculars for recreational use. I have probably purchased 5 in my lifetime and this pay is the best I have owned. Very light weight and the best view that I have had. I live on the water and there is no glare and the view is very clear,

Comments about Nikon Travelite VI 10x25 Binocular:
The Nikon 10x25 Travelite VI binoculars are really nice, compact and sharp. Great for travel or day trips. They take bring things in a lot closer than my Nikon 8x23 Travelite IV's do and they're not much bigger in size. They come with a nice case and strap.

Just used it at a concert. It was all that they claimed it to be and more. Only draw back. I wished it had been 10 X 35 instead of 10 x 25. Focus is too narrow. Other wise they are great.

I liked my Travelite 3 binoculars so much that after one our cats knocked them off the shelf and broke them I knew I had to replace them with another pair.
They are are well worth the money. Oh, and none of the cats admitted to the breakage.

Comments about Nikon Travelite VI 10x25 Binocular:
So far i've used the binoculars for birdwatching. They're compact, light and easy to focus. The optics are exceptionally clear. The only drawback is the lack of a place to put the little lens covers. It would surely be nice to be able to have a strap attachment feature like the larger binoculars.

These Binocular's are light weight, compact, yet totally effective and more than just appropriate for our purpose. We need to read tiny guages atop high pressure equipment and they really do the job!
