The Redrock Micro microLensSupport is designed to attach to any 15mm rod/rail system--such as Redrock's microRodSupport--and provides added support to large 35mm or cine lenses. This is especially useful when attaching long zooms or telephoto lenses to an M2 lens adapter or when shooting DSLR video. The lens can be adjusted, by way of a vertical riser and repositionable thumbscrews, for the most optimal position.

          Comments about Redrock Micro microLensSupport:

Why am I rating this 4 star when I had to return it? Cause it was solid and well built and, if it fits your rig, it's a 4 star. I took off one star because I wanted this to go on my Redrock Micro ManCam rig supporting a Canon 70-200 connected to a Blackmagic 4K camera -- it was too short (didn't reach the lens) on this setup. I opted for a center rod support unit -- thinking is that I can then change out the 15mm rod if I need extra height. But, if this support fits your rig, it's well built and not that expensive.

Another Red Rock product that " almost " works ....

                - the tightening knob is too big and will hit your follow focus or other accessories you might want to rig on your 15mm rods.

                - also seems to bind on the rods.

                - but will support your zooms and larger lenses.

Bought to support a 70-200mm Canon lens in video mode on a 5D. Helps minimise movement when focus pulling.

does exactly what it says it does: supports my big zoom lens. Great product, quality Redrock as usual.

                          Comments about Redrock Micro microLensSupport:

I use this on the 5D/7D with the Canon 300mm f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8. It adjusts to any height you'd need for a long lens on 15mm rails. Easily installed and adjusted, and is able to support quite a bit of weight. Reduces excess movement/jitter when operating follow focus and - most importantly - distributes weight to your rails and not your camera mount.

It's build quality is sturdy, but it's also a bit heavy.
