My main charge finally died, and was hoping to save a few bucks with this. On an week long assignment I charged everything before I left. After 2 battery charges it had failed and would not charge anymore.
I charged a battery over night with it and still no juice. Guess you get what you paid for.

I purchased a Vivatar video camera for my son. The camera charges via a USB cable that is also used to download the files to his computer. The fitting is similar to that of a cell phone chargers, but much flimsier. Needless to say the delicate charging cable ceased to work. The solution was to buy the SC-VIV. The charger works beautifully and saved me buying another camera.
