Comments about Sunpak TravelLite Digital Tripod:

I ordered this because I wanted a lightweight tripod for travel. The size was good - it folds down to a small enough size to keep in my bag but extends to a nice height. Unfortunately, it feels unstable when I put my Canon 40D on it, especially because one of the legs doesn't stay fully extended too well (the thread seems like it is stripped and is very difficult to twist/tighten). Also, it came missing a piece - makes me wonder if it was actually refurbished and not new.

Comments about Sunpak TravelLite Digital Tripod:

This product arrived broken. I don't blame B&H or the shipper. I blame Sunpak. The legs are held upright by spring loaded sockets. The little ball that should have partially popped out of one joint was rolling around inside one leg. With only two legs working and no way to get the third leg working, I returned it. It may be an ultra-lightweight tripod but it is also ultra-flimsy.

Comments about Sunpak TravelLite Digital Tripod:

Lightweight, pack-able, and yet very tall when extended. Exactly what we were looking for to "lug" around with us. It does not show on the picture, but under the holding plate there is an additional extension that adds another 5-6".

all legs easily calapse and one leg won't lock into place when extended. All are wobbley and it's appearance and feel is just cheap. Avoid this overpriced junk.

Comments about Sunpak TravelLite Digital Tripod:

This is obviously good for travel. It's folded length (about 14inches) is the same as other small tripods yet it's taller. That being said, it weighs a bit more because it has more leg sections but i think the extra weight is worth having it extend all the way to about 56inches. Makes it comfortable to use without bending down to get eye leved to your camera's viewfinder. Overall the product is very good for the price and its compact size is one of the very best. The one limitation it has is, it wouldnt support or i wouldnt feel very confident putting a DSLR on it. If you have a DSLR do urself a favor and get a sturdier tripod to safeguard ur investment. Lastly the absolute one thing I dont like about this tripod and would be the one reason I wouldnt recommended this tripod would be its legs. They are absolutely a pain to retract back, more often than not all the leg sections wouldnt retract back and you would have to keep extending and retracting until they would retract all the way. If you spray WD-40 they retract a bit better. But overall its a good tripod for the price

Comments about Sunpak TravelLite Digital Tripod:

Relatively small. Relatively light. Acceptably sturdy and not wobbly. 2 removable camera attachments so I can leave them on my two cameras. 2 levels. Ball head swivel works very smoothly. The legs extend easily, though shortening them to leave the thickest, most sturdy sections exposed can be a challenge. You can remove one section of the center post to get the camera close to the ground. I would have preferred an even shorter center section. I own a Bogen Pro and this is a very acceptable alternative that I will take everywhere with me. It will make my panoramic and choseup photographs more "professional".

Easy to use, and portable. It extends to be tall or can be compacted to a table tripod. light weight and comes with a little carrying case that makes it easy to throw over your shoulder. Works nicely with my Rebel. No problems as of yet!
