The HDMI Extreme Fiber-Optic Cable 50' from Gefen is an integrated HDMI cable that includes fiber-optic cable and electro-optical components built into the HDMI connector at the endpoints. This cable is designed to exceed the performance of copper and silver cables.
It requires a clearance conduit of 1.42"(36mm). This solution is HDCP-compliant. A single power supply is included for use on the display end of the cable in case the video source signal is too weak to power the entire extension distance.

This fiber optic cable did exactly what I hoped it would do: Get deep color signals from my Blu ray player to my projector. The old copper cable only gave me 8 bit color.
