Admittedly, I don't use this for an effects pedal. I bought it to fit my Akai Miniak keyboard and it fits like a glove in this case (the Gator synth case was too small), and the price is reasonable. The case has high-quality canvas-nylon material and heavy-duty zippers, guaranteed to keep your equipment safe. There is also front pocket that will store cables and other accessories.

I use this bag to protect my digitech rp1000 pedal ... I've only used it for one gig so far seemed to protect it well and has a real nice strap handle and heavy duty zipper
The only con I have which is why I gave it four stars is that the pocket for accessories is really small its really useless. All I carry with me is an xlr a quarter inch cable and a Mic.
