The Tiffen 52mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit is a complete set of filters to help you get better shots in bright light as well as assisting you with some special effect images.
Neutral Density filters have several uses and offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. They enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting color balance. ND filters appear gray and reduce the amount of light reaching the film.
Determining which neutral density filter yields ideal results for any given lighting situation takes knowledge, experience and a collection of such filters. Speaking generally, the 2-stop value (ND 0.6) effectively compensates average situations.

Comments about Tiffen 52mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit:
I wanted to play with moving water shots and these were a great deal- used them a LOT last summer. Also terrific for sand and snow. If you want to stack them, though, for bright daylight long exposures, you'll get vignetting with a wide-angle lens, buy a bigger set and a step-up ring. Focus BEFORE you put them on, though!

Comments about Tiffen 52mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit:
I didn't need all the filters as they are very similar in their benefits, but they were a good value and came with a great case to house them.

Comments about Tiffen 52mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit:
I use these filters on my Nikkor 35mm f/1.8. The results are very good. Gives alot of detail when shooting in bright conditions. You can slow down the shutter speed to create blurring but a stronger ND filter would be better for waterfalls. Overall a solid product with high quality glass. These filters prove you don't have to spend a fortune for quality filters.Comes with nice case.

Comments about Tiffen 52mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit:
I use these filters on a nikon 28mm 2.8 Lens while taking portrait pictures in bright sunny situations. These filters give almost complete over the amount of light entering your camera. On a bright day at the beach when your getting a meter reading on your model of f/22 or f/32, When I put one of the filters on I can knock that aperture down to an f8 or f5.6. So far no complaints I think you get a decent working product for a good price compared to some of the more pricer filters out there

Comments about Tiffen 52mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit:
I just used this set of ND filters while shooting a tilt/shift (tilt)
time-lapse for a client. It gave me the ability to control my exposure without actual changing the lens f-stops. I use circular filters when it's not possible or inconvenient to use my 4x4's and matte-box.

Comments about Tiffen 52mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit:
I bought these because I've been taking a lot of photos of nature and my daughters horseback riding lessons and shows. I'm still playing around and getting the hang of these, but I've already got some nice shots showing movement without everything turning into a blur on me. I think these will be coming out of my kit quite a bit once I have more experience with them.
