The Panasonic DMW-MCFT2 Marine Case Underwater Housing for the Panasonic DMC-TS2 digital camera. You can use your digital camera to take underwater photos at depths of up to 130' (40m). It is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.
A diffuser for the camera's flash is included. This helps when using the camera's internal flash. For better results underwater, use the internal flash to trigger a slaved external strobe like those made by Fantasea, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, or Sealife. The camera has an underwater mode setting for available light photography.

Comments about Panasonic DMW-MCFT2 Marine Case Underwater Housing:
Case used in sea water in a range from 2 to 10 meters for several 30 minutes-dives.
Pictures and movies really good / no leaking / no fog.
You just have to familiarize with the buttons as you can't see the pictograms...

Comments about Panasonic DMW-MCFT2 Marine Case Underwater Housing:
I bought the TS2 only after researching the housings. This housing and camera fit perfectly together, as one would expect form the same Mfr.
The buttons are all in the same place, so the camera operation is the same top-side. If you look closely, the buttons are labeled on the case, but they are in clear plastic. If you need to see the labels, then take a perm. marker to them beforehand.
It has a nice bump-out for a hand grip, and the wrist strap is handy. You can also make your own filter for the lens because the flash diffuser snaps around the lens.
Also has a flash attachment for external flash units. I don't have one, so I'm not sure how well this works.

Comments about Panasonic DMW-MCFT2 Marine Case Underwater Housing:
SCUBA divers, this is the case you need to take your Panasonic DMC-TS2 waterproof camera down to 120'. It works fine...no leaks. But they could have made a good product even better by adding a few extras, such as a lens cap and hood for shading the view screen, and by making the 9 tightly-packed chrome control buttons slightly different colors or shapes to help distinguish them from each other (as on Olympus cases). Also the back cover scratches easily because it has no protection from contact with other equipment, creating irritating reflections when viewing the camera's LCD. Overall, I'd give it a B- rating.

Comments about Panasonic DMW-MCFT2 Marine Case Underwater Housing:
I originally bought the more expensive Ikelite case for this camera and was very dissatisfied with it. This case, however is great in all the ways that the Ikelite wasn't:
o It's smaller
o The locking mechanism is easier to open when needed and stays locked and shut when closed
o All the buttons are the same place as the camera (which not true on the Ikelite) - no need to relearn the controls inside vs. outside the case
o It has a standard tripod mount for multiple light sources, rather than a custom configuration
o It's cheaper.
The only downside is that there is no apparent ability to add filters, though it may be possible to modify the diffuser. Also, the camera has an underwater white balance mode, so this may be less important.
It's not often that items conflict with the maxim "you get what you pay for" but in my opinion, this is the best case around for this camera.

Comments about Panasonic DMW-MCFT2 Marine Case Underwater Housing:
Perfect for recreation divers who want to use for photo and short 720p video. Small and make a perfect pix and video. The best thing that all the buttons available on the housing too. I really like that even the video button also there.
But my favorite, that since the camera itself waterproof no more worries about the flooded problems. The only sad thing, that Panasonic do not produce any wide angle lenses for it. - some 3rd parties exist.
